my edits

In the below, links are all the writing and letters of Thomas Jefferson or James Madison the only reference to that of Democrat or Democratic in them is in reference to that of world governments outside of the United States of America, neither Jefferson nor Madison ever referred their political establishment like that of the Democratic-Republican party. I have studies world culture and world history for now 47 years and I am very well versed in the facts of American history, being I am an American it is my responsibility to know my nation's history correctly. The fictional claim of this page in reference to the Democratic-Republican party its self makes clear there was no real reference of such and does so in a clear attempt to mask such facts. This whole page is an attempt to make it appear that a Democratic form of government was established in America when in fact that is a lie the founders clearly new the last thing they wanted was a Democratic form of government that is why Article 4 Section 4 of the United States Constitution clearly defines the only allowed form of government in the United States is that of a Republican form and that is guaranteed to every American as is clearly stated in article 4 section 4 of the United States Constitution. Though as I noted in relation to historical events aside from this fictional political party name the historical events of that time may be correct. Please restore my edits and if you feel or have need of questioning anything I edit or post, I would be thankful you directly talk with me first and allow me to justify my edits or post before deleting them which is resulting in multiple tasks to again restore them. Thank you.

Note the below claims of a Democratic-Republican party is complete fiction, there never was mentioned a Democratic-Republican party by Thomas Jefferson or James Madison, no such party existed ever in the history of the United State, the below is a fictional account of a fictional party propagated by today's Democrats in an attempt to associate Democrat or Democracy's with the Republican form of government of the Free Constitutional Republic of the United States of America. In searching through all written letters and correspondence between Jefferson and Madison the statement of "Democratic-Republican party does not exist. https://founders.archives.gov/about/Madison , https://founders.archives.gov/about/Jefferson The term Democrat or Democracy further does not exist anywhere in the Declaration of Independence or the United States Constitution. https://www.archives.gov/founding-docs/declaration-transcript , https://www.archives.gov/founding-docs/constitution-transcript

The below is a fictional account in where statements of events and matters of history are correct to their time, but all and any reference to the Democratic-Republican party are fictional claims, again no such political party ever existed in the History of the United States of America. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jimmyfact (talkcontribs) 03:28, 16 August 2020 (UTC)

Your attention is called to the addition of this display to the article on the Central Business District, Los Angeles (1880s-1890s). Do you have any feelings, for or against? Discussion should take place on that article's Talk page. Thanks. BeenAroundAWhile (talk) 18:01, 16 August 2020 (UTC)

Your GA nomination of Willis J. Potts

The article Willis J. Potts you nominated as a good article has passed ; see Talk:Willis J. Potts for comments about the article. Well done! If the article has not already appeared on the main page as a "Did you know" item, or as a bold link under "In the News" or in the "On This Day" prose section, you can nominate it within the next seven days to appear in DYK. • If you've got the time and interest, most of the Wikipedia:Good_article_nominations queues are fairly backlogged. The bio and med queue has around a two month wait, which is not ideal. If you're interested in science biographies, I see several awaiting reviewers (and the Atul Gawande review, which is seeking a second opinion). Anything you can take off the queue would be a big help to making the process flow. I hope all is well! Ajpolino (talk) 21:10, 8 August 2020 (UTC)
    • Ajpolino - Thanks for your feedback on my entry. I'm taking a look at the bio and med queue to see what I can take off. Thanks again! Larry Hockett (Talk) 13:58, 10 August 2020 (UTC)
      • Just a little note to follow-up on something I said at the GA review. An archivist at Northwestern replied to say their staff is all work-from-home for the foreseeable future. Why don't you like acronyms? My one dream in life is to have a new acronym everyone will say just like LOL or BRB. E.g., imagine if someone came to close to you at Walmart you could just shout, SD!! Just like any other acronym, and nobody would ask you what it means. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Bkoanrd (talkcontribs) 15:31, 2 September 2020 (UTC)

I love acronyms; the issue is just whether we should use Wikipedia to popularize acronyms that aren't widely used. Larry Hockett (Talk) 15:35, 2 September 2020 (UTC)
So do you practice SD and wear a mask? Or are you against that as well? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.166.92.181 (talk) 15:43, 2 September 2020 (UTC)
For the most part, when editing Wikipedia, I don't have a need to practice anything that could be termed SD. Have a good afternoon. Larry Hockett (Talk) 15:54, 2 September 2020 (UTC)

Peck

What I prepared back in the spring, with you not strongly objecting, took hundreds of hours of work. It is fabulous. I wish I could see this type of documentation for every major star - quotes from major publications on each of their performances in each movie right in one document, with options to see more exact quotes. EVERY article makes decisions on which sources to include. This gives ALL major recognized sources back upon release and since. That is FULL unbiased encyclopedic style. Your deleting all this would be a travesty and a tragic waste of valuable work.

Informed analysis, it is simple. Read WP:NOR. Then look at your edits to Gregory Peck. ("In recent decades, of the four reviews or comments on the film available from several recognized film critics/writers or prominent English-language publications or websites (Leonard Maltin, Christopher Tookie, David Thompson, Barry Monush, Michael Gebert, AllMovie, TV Guide, TimeOut, RadioTimes), opinions on the movie are mixed.")
Do you have an independent reliable source that states how many reviews are available for the film, how many of those reviewers are well-known, or whether opinions among the reviewers are mixed? Or have you conducted original research? Now read WP:NOR one more time and tell me whether you are editing in the spirit of Wikipedia's principles of verifiability. Original research is not allowed, and there is no exception based on the OR being exhaustive or fabulous. That applies to you just as much as it does to me. Editors have reached out to you about issues with sourcing/original research/synthesis for quite some time now. I'm growing concerned that you aren't open to learning how to edit according to WP's sourcing standards. If you are, a good start would be to self-revert the OR edits you introduced on the already-bloated Peck entry. Larry Hockett (Talk) 14:36, 2 September 2020 (UTC)

The below is extracted form the article on Cary Grant:

Grant's role is described by William Rothman as projecting the "distinctive kind of nonmacho masculinity that was to enable him to incarnate a man capable of being a romantic hero".[87]

Who cares what William Rothman said? Who is William Rotham? Is there any reference in this article saying who he is and why we should care what his opinion is? Why is only one viewpoint provided? Are other ones from that time period available? That is ONE POINT OF VIEW instead of representing the wide variety of points of view that may exist. And that is only the point of view at that time period, not the point of view of various people over the last 20 or 30 years.

The text I inserted across the Gregory Peck article provides the widest point of view available at the time the movie was released AND in the last 20 to 30 years. What i have done fully implements the full intent of Wikipedia. It is not original research - it is stating what sources available have said about the movie but tells people whether any others are available so they know the quotes are not just cheery-picked to represent one point of view that corresponds to the the wikipedia editor. Counting the number of reviews that I found is not original research - it is summarizing. I.e. Instead of just listing all the comments you simply say "I counted 4 available". I summarized by saying some were positive and some were negative so people do not have to read each one separately and summarized what the key reasons for their ratings were. All the other individual selected quotes in other articles do not give the wide variety of point of view, so you should delete those. When you start deleting all those and notify me which ones you have deleted, then I will concur with you. You are obsessive-compulsive in only viewing a tree in the larger forest. I guess you way of operating is why the person below said FU.

Informed analysis, I don't think I ever said I only counted four available. In fact, I know I've said I counted more than four. If there is a source that summarizes reviews on Cary Grant, you can cite it in that article without waiting on me. If you were being a bit nicer than you are right now, it would be easier to help correct your misunderstandings. As it is, I'll just say that I expect you to start following some sourcing rules - trees, forests and allegations of OCD aside. Larry Hockett (Talk) 18:46, 2 September 2020 (UTC)

Why don't you go pick apart my text on the early 80s and 90s recessions in Canada too. There was nothing there before. I guess it is better to have nothing than to have useful information that doesn't meet your obsessively high standards.

Because I don't have some personal vendetta against you that would result in needing to pick anything apart. If you feel that your own contributions don't meet Wikipedia's exacting standards on sourcing, you can step up and improve those contributions without assigning the work to your fellow editors. Larry Hockett (Talk) 18:49, 2 September 2020 (UTC)

You did not read what I said at all. I wasn't saying that you said you counted 4 sources. I was saying that is what I was doing in essence - I made it clear in the article that I continually consulted the same 8 or so well-known, continually available sources from the last 20-30 years and if any of those had a review, I included it here. I've taken the most scientific, unbiased approach possible. I've covered ALL points of view and merely summarized it so people don't have to read every review BUT they can read the most salient parts if they go to the footnotes. I guess you would not like what I did 2 years ago on Renaissance Painting - since many experts disagree on the dates of the High Renaissance I included the opinions of about 10 of them. I give up do whatever you want.

User:Stemurph88 has continued unconstructive edits, such as this one. They are apparently able to get incorrect revisions flagged as "stable." How should this be handled? --Flejern (talk) 13:13, 13 September 2020 (UTC)

Flejern, I just reported the user to WP:AIV. Normally I wouldn't worry about it if the editor stopped editing a couple of days earlier, but this user pops back in occasionally and (after making three constructive edits in 2008) has made only unconstructive edits since 2009, some to BLPs. I think it might make sense to just indefinitely block that user, but we'll see what an admin says. Thanks for the heads up. Larry Hockett (Talk) 19:03, 13 September 2020 (UTC)

GA Nomination

Hello Larry. I’ve nominated an [article] for GA. After working with many editors and admins to get it to where it is now, I think it’s ready for the process. If time permits, with your help I would like to give it a GA stamp of approval, please. Thank you for your time, and thank you for your consideration. I look forward to any collaborative efforts and guidance. TruthGuardians (talk) 03:47, 21 September 2020 (UTC)

Hi TruthGuardians. Thanks for your work on this entry. Unfortunately, I'm becoming very busy off Wikipedia and things are unlikely to let up soon. I'm committed to a handful of GA nominations and reviews, and those will probably take up much of my WP time for the foreseeable future. Since I don't know much about the topic of your entry, I think it's best for both of us if I stay out of this one. Some areas are pretty backlogged with GA nominations, but if you peruse the lists of GA nominations at WP:GAN#MUS and similar areas, you may locate editors who have an interest in editing, nominating and reviewing articles like yours. Larry Hockett (Talk) 05:31, 21 September 2020 (UTC)
Thanks, Larry, for your response. I wish you the best of luck in your off-wiki endeavors! I’ll reach out to someone else as suggested above. Thanks for the consideration, my friend. Take care. TruthGuardians (talk) 13:18, 21 September 2020 (UTC)

If concerns are not addressed during the review period, the good article status may be removed from the article. — Yours, Berrely • TalkContribs 19:03, 14 October 2020 (UTC)

Berrely, thank you for your message. I was a little surprised that the article passed without my having to address any feedback. I addressed the "survived by" issue because it was so easy to resolve. On some of the other items raised, I wonder whether they go a bit beyond the scope of GA. For example, I'm not aware of a standard requiring more than one source per paragraph. Major expansion of infoboxes is rarely encouraged at GA reviews, because the infobox is designed to summarize only key features of an article; in fact, there are GAs with no infobox at all. I'm open to other feedback though - whether GA status hinges on it or not - because my goal is to make the article the best it can be. I'll wait on more feedback before commenting on the GAR itself. HEY WHAT THE PROBLEM HERE? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.184.218.131 (talk) 06:21, 30 November 2020 (UTC)

None, as far as I know. It looks like you received one warning for removing content from a page without leaving an edit summary to explain why. That's pretty easy to avoid in the future, so I wouldn't even think of it as a problem. Could you tell me more about your concern? Larry Hockett (Talk) 06:28, 30 November 2020 (UTC)

Wikipedia "Article" paragraph three <- not a question of sourcing

When reading the article there are three introductory paragraphs. Paragraph one speaks to what wikipedia is, Paragraph two is metrics based. Paragraph three is disorganized.

Wikipedia has been criticized for its uneven accuracy and exhibiting systemic and gender bias, where the majority of editors are male. Edit-a-thons have been held to encourage female editors and increase the coverage of women's topics.[9] In 2006 Time magazine stated that the open-door policy of allowing anyone to edit had made Wikipedia the biggest and possibly the best encyclopedia in the world, and was a testament to the vision of Jimmy Wales.[10] The project's reputation improved further in the 2010s as it increased efforts to improve its quality and reliability. In 2018 Facebook and YouTube announced that they would help users detect fake news by suggesting links to related Wikipedia articles.[11]

Paragraph three starts with "criticism" In the middle of the paragraph its "the biggest and best" It concludes "that it relied upon to fight fake news" Zugzwangerone (talk) 01:17, 3 December 2020 (UTC)

Zugzwangerone, we had a good conversation going on your user talk page (User talk:Zugzwangerone) and I'd prefer to continue it there. As other editors have mentioned, some of your comments come across as a bit unclear or disorganized. Keeping things in one place should help to cut down on the issues with clarity. Larry Hockett (Talk) 01:31, 3 December 2020 (UTC)
I will leave Wikipedia to you guys. I made the mistake of participating by removing a link that pointed to Child Pornography, editing a page run by a public relations department, and tuned a biased entry on an Islamic sect that failed to mention it ties to terrorism. These edits were ultimately sucessful. My conclusion after this experiment-experience is that Wikipidia is a Social Network for its longtime participants.

Wikipedia has a culture, among its long term participants, that has been developed to counter a process that clearly does not work. There is more effort expended to keep entries from disappearing than there is to produce a reliable product.

In terms of product, almost every article I have looked at is materially incorrect. This even includes the main page where it describes itself.

Information icon Hello Larry Hockett, Thank you for your message. First, I don't know if this is the right way of responding so please forgive me if I made any mistakes. The reason for my corrections was to correct some recent vandalism on this page. If you look back in the edit history, you can see that on the thirteenth of this month someone made these changes that I have now reverted. I apologize for not adding a description, as I was not aware that it was important. Also because the person who vandalized the page did not list any reasons. This page (Peter Lemongello) has been vandalized many times in the past and was under protection for a year. Now that the protection has expired, it seems the vandalism has started again. Maybe you could help to reinstate the protection. Thank you for your help. (User:2600:1700:6A30:31B0:A1E2:B1A3:1090:D280) 03:52, 27 December 2020 (EST)

The page history doesn't give the impression that you were correcting vandalism, at least as we use the term on Wikipedia (see WP:V). It looks like you were correcting what may be some inaccuracies and removing some material that may not paint the subject in a great light. I know that there have been some factual disputes on this entry in the past, and the best way to resolve those issues is to cite reliable and independent sources. Instead of fixing something in an article over and over, just cite a reliable source for the correct content. That makes it a little more obvious when someone makes a change not supported by the sources. I think we are making progress on the entry, as we have seen cursing, all-caps and name-calling in the article’s edit summaries in the past. Now we just need to move more toward using references and less toward removing material without a good justification.
There is a little more information about talk pages (which would include article talk pages and user talk pages) at WP:TP. Let me know if I can help. Larry Hockett (Talk) 09:14, 27 December 2020 (UTC)

Categories are supposed to be defining. We do not always define people by their place of birth. Thank you for taking the time to review the edits I made. I didn’t feel the edits required further references as the edits I made are mentioned multiple times through his podcast and also on his website which was already referenced. I have since provided further references and hope this helps. MatthewM1994 (talk) 13:01, 9 January 2021 (UTC)

I've only made one recent edit to that entry, but see WP:V for why. You would need a reliable source to support the edit. Also see WP:COI, which strongly encourages people connected to an article to make editing requests on the article talk page (as opposed to editing the article itself). Greetings

Thanks for your help improving Roy W. Menninger. In clicking on your user page, a noted substantial common interests in baseball (including Rusty Kuntz and Señor Smoke), country music, and Laphroig (one of my best trips ever was to the Isle of Islay, its distilleries, and the peat bogs, including an afternoon with master distiller Jim McEwan). Hopefully, we will have a chance to collaborate again. Cheers, Cbl62 (talk) 22:51, 12 March 2021 (UTC)

Oh man - we do have a lot of common interests. I started watching a documentary featuring McEwan the other night, but I got interrupted before I could finish it. A trip to Islay is definitely on my bucket list. No problem on the Roy Menninger edits. A few years ago his brother Walt came up at AFD and we were able to find plenty of sources to flesh out the article. Some of the sources in that article may also provide substantial coverage of Roy. Thanks for your note! Larry Hockett (Talk) 23:25, 12 March 2021 (UTC)
Thanks for the link to the Scotch whisky documentary. Will definitely watch. McEwan is a colorful guy. My visit was probably 20 years or so ago before political correctness was as it is now. He told us a story about hiring the local "retarded" kids to put the labels on the bottles when he first took over at Brucichladdich. If the labels were "a little askew" on those early bottles, he hoped customers would understand that they were trying to perform a good deed by helping the "retarded" kids. Hey

It took me a couple days to realize your username changed, but good to see you're still around and editing up a storm in the baseball arena. I hadn't exactly intended to take a four-year break, really, but, well, things happen. Glad to jump back into some article-writing and to see that so many of the good folks of baseball WikiProject land are still around. How are things going? Go Phightins! 01:41, 24 March 2021 (UTC)

Hey man. It was so good to see your name pop up. I meant to send you a message the other day. The way my schedule is right now, I mostly just pop in and revert a little vandalism, but sometimes I get to expand a baseball stub or complete a GA review. This message reminds me that it has been a good while since I got to dive in and take a baseball entry to GA. Joe West (umpire) was my first experience at GA, and I can't wrap my head around the fact that it was more than eight years ago. I hope you're doing well. Keep in touch, and let me know what you're up to. Larry Hockett (Talk) 03:24, 24 March 2021 (UTC)
Yeah it's hard to say that I'm fully "back," but I had forgotten how enjoyable (and addictive) being around can be. I just ran Zach Eflin up to GA—kinda focused on low hanging fruit at this point ... and also some admin chores as penance for having neglected them for five years lol. Speaking of which, if you were ever interested (or, more accurately, willing to let yourself be cajoled) into running the gauntlet, I'd be glad to nominate as, I'm sure, would some other good folks in baseball land. Can never hurt to have another set of hands on the AIV and RPP backlogs ... :-) Go Phightins! 11:24, 25 March 2021 (UTC)

Rob Halprin

Thank you for your message about your undo revision on the Rob Halprin page. However Rob Halprin was both Valerie Carter business manager, record company owner and manager. The citation used was the Viacom and Rovi reviews of the albums Rob Halprin produced and released for Valerie Carter on his VRP Music Record Label. It is difficult to find a citation that shows a copy of the actual contract between Ms. Carter and Mr. Halprin however I worked as VRP Music’s bookkeeper during the period from 1994 through 2004 and have seen the contract. I have a copy as well as copies of cancelled checks written from VRP Music to Valerie Carter stating “advance” and “artist %” on the memo line but the only place I have found that refers to this publicly is citations, 6,7,8 and 9, I just don’t know how to properly add them. I can forward you jpeg copies if you like. Pardon me for having difficulties I am new to editing Wikipedia but find it fascinating. Having been the bookkeeper to numerous music business executives and record companies and are trying to adhere to all Wikipedia guidelines as I plan on making more additions and edits. If you would like to see the jpeg copies showing Mr. Halprin’s representation of Ms. Carter kindly tell me where to forward them. I will check for a more proper citation, I believe there is one on Mr. Halprin’s official web site as well as a fan web site that I believe exists. Thank you for the help. 02:59, 12 March 2021 (UTC) Patty Jo King

What we would need is an independent secondary source (like an article in a newspaper or major magazine) that explicitly describes the work that Halprin did for Carter. Personal assurances and primary sources (like checks) won't really help you. Websites about Halprin or Carter won't help unless they specifically support the statements you are making in the article. Refs 6-9 are mostly dead internet links, so I don't see how those help. I am dismayed that you're blowing ahead full speed without really digesting the warnings about the importance of sources.
Also please see WP:COI for guidance on how to edit in areas where you have an outside relationship with the subject. Larry Hockett (Talk) 03:18, 12 March 2021 (UTC)

Well we wouldn’t want you to be “dismayed” god forbid! I’ll find a proper citation as I KNOW it is a FACT. I will then have a 3rd party do the edit as to adhere to guidelines. Thank you for your help. comment added 16:22, 12 March 2021 (UTC) Patty Jo King

I appreciate your willingness to at least engage here. Let me know if I can clarify anything. Larry Hockett (Talk) 18:29, 12 March 2021 (UTC)

I have found numerous proper citations, ONE from the Tampa Bay Times however it’s behind a paywall being 17 years old. The URL is: https://www.tampabay.com/archive/2001/06/01/that-girl-can-sing/

You can pay for a 1 month trial for $.99 which you must cancel within the month or they begin to charge $2.28 per WEEK thereafter. I paid the $.99 and will cancel tomorrow. Additional citations can be found using the Wayback Machine on Valerie Carter’s Official Website dated September 23, 25, 28, 29th and November 28 2002. As I told you earlier this is a FACT, Valerie Carter was managed and was a member of the roster of Rob Halprin’s Company, VRP Music. Thank you again, as I said earlier I am new to this and appreciate you pointing me in the proper direction to learn proper protocol(s) 11:14, 13 March 2021 (UTC) Patty Jo King

No problem. I know that it is tempting to set the record straight on various facts, but one of the limitations of Wikipedia is that we must be able to demonstrate our assertions through independent, reliable sources. There are some facts that I know for sure - facts that would no doubt make a Wikipedia article better - but I cannot add them to WP because there is no coverage of them in reliable sources.
I haven't looked at your sources thoroughly yet. Just make sure that they confirm the statements you make in the article. For example, if you are writing that Halprin was her manager, make sure the reference says that, not just that they worked together. You don't want to copy the wording of the reference too closely, but the article should say the same thing in your own words. Good luck. Larry Hockett (Talk) 12:07, 13 March 2021 (UTC)

Mr. Hockett- I found other sources stating clearly Mr. Halprin was Valerie Carter’s manager and she was a signed member of the roster of his independent record label VRP Music. Specifically Ms. Carter’s official website during the years 2001-2003. Found on the Wayback machine I tried to place them in the Rob Halprin page but was continually shown an “error message” stating I did not close the reference with <<ref>> which I did. This is what I added; <ref>http://valeriecarter.com November 20 through 30 2002<ref> Sorry to trouble you but I’ve read every page on WP and my best guess is the server / software does not like the dates November 20 through November 30. However it is on these dates the reference is best cited. It is cited sporadically from Valerie Carter’s web site from inception in 2001 through late 2003 however those dates I gave you are the most crawled dates and most specific to the issue. If you could advise me it would be greatly appreciated, if not completely understandable. Thank you, Patty Jo King — Preceding unsigned comment added by Patty Jo King (talkcontribs) 17:08, 20 March 2021 (UTC)

I don't see any error messages on that entry right now, but you're probably right that it wants you to pick a date (either Nov 20 or 30, not both). I do notice that you're adding content that isn't supported by the references again. Please don't do that. A 2001 source can't support assertions about 2021, for example, and that source doesn't contain the word manager as far as I can see. Don't forget to read the information on conflicts of interest (especially the section at WP:DISCLOSE). I'm happy to help as long as I know you're interested in following such guidelines. Larry Hockett (Talk) 17:29, 20 March 2021 (UTC)

Thank you. Of course I am willing to follow guidelines or why would I bother asking a clearly experienced user for help? The Valerie Carter official web sites states “After considering offers from several record labels, an independant label was formed instead by Valerie’s long-time friends/associates Rob and Patti Halprin. VRP Music is the chosen moniker and will give Valerie much more artistic control, with current plans to release new albums on a regular basis and eventually re-release all her previous solo recordings under the VRP name.

So far, the title of the new cd is still undetermined, but a release date in February, 2002 is currently projected.”

Perhaps you didn’t see it but I took and kept a screen shot today before that too becomes a dead link. If you can’t take the time to find it I suggest you stop chastising me. Go tell Jimmy Wales if you can find the location of his private jet purchased by WP “Foundation” as for that I can provide a clear citation.

Valerie Carter stopped performing in 2009 due to drug dependence and eating disorder issues. James Taylor and Rob Halprin paid for Ms. Carter’s extensive rehab, drug court costs, and in Mr. Halprin’s case a new wardrobe, beautician, hair stylist, cosmetologist, etc., all for the drug court session which is mentioned on the Valerie Carter WP Page. I would never add that information however my point being the older web site dates and the one article from the St. Petersburg Times which had a dead link but I found re-posted after that new organization was purchased by the Tampa Bay Times and which only I played detective and chased down whilst having to buy a Tampa Bay Times digital membership. These ARE the ONLY sources as from 2009-2010 Valerie Carter was in rehab. In 2011 she was under drug court ordered monitoring to avoid jail time and she never sang for pay again. This is all found in public records. The eating disorder and decades of on again off again drug use then rehab took its toll and she died prematurely at age 64 due to this. Her final album was the highly acclaimed VRP Music release Midnight Over Honey River in 2003. When you say “ A 2001 source can't support assertions about 2021, for example, and that source doesn't contain the word manager as far as I can see.” when it is the ONLY source what are we to use? Does it use the word “manager”? No. However it does state a label was formed by Mr. & Mrs. Halprin for Valerie therefore IMO that is clearly inferred. What term would you prefer WP to use? Financier? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Patty Jo King (talkcontribs) 18:03, 20 March 2021 (UTC)

I'm going to be 100% straightforward with you here. When my user talk page stops serving as editing help and starts serving as a sounding board about beauticians, jets, and rehab, I will lose interest quickly. A 2001 article will never support statements about 2021, and, no, we can't embellish or elaborate upon the 2001 source just because there aren't any others. →Larry Hockett (Talk) 18:25, 20 March 2021 (UTC)

You’re “going to be 100% straightforward” meaning previously you haven’t? Your logically fallacious cherry picking of the facts because you’re either unable or unwilling to do the work required. That’s your problem, not mine.Patty Jo King (talk) 21:05, 22 March 2021 (UTC)Patty Jo King

The Miami Herald 100% edited their pages #’q 1,2,3,4, etc from 1969 through 1974 as you can clearly see here; https://miamiherald.newspapers.com/search/#query=Horizon+School+For+Gifted+Children

I'm sorry, Patty Jo. I do not see what you're seeing. I see an 11-AW, but no page numbers without letters.
