Howdy!
[edit]Wikipedia is a platform that allows everyone to constructively contribute. We appreciate people who have a narrow interest in editing for the expertise and familiarity with a topic they may have. There is a line, however, for conflicts of interest. Here is a good primer on those related policies. There's no need to be specific about your affiliation with the subject matter; but do be aware that editing pages of affiliated family or friends, organizations, business clients and competitors is against Wikipedia's editorial policies for good reason. Again, everyone is free to constructively edit Wikipedia and all people have their own biases, but some things can get too close and personal for an encyclopedia. This is not an indictment or judgement, and this may be the first time you've been made aware of these conflict of interest policies, so don't stress. It would be wise to stop editing pages related to your conflict of interest as to avoid the ire of moderators. Happy editing! Mewnst (talk) 23:15, 28 January 2022 (UTC)
