Yup, that's just about perfect. I've standardized the formatting. The main issue is "Wikipedia use only". Since Wikipedia is under the GNU Free Documentation License there is no way to limit usage to Wikipedia. Wikipedia content pops up in answers.com, the geo layers of Google Earth, and literally hundreds other sites who hope to make some money by adding ads. If you feel you cannot use the images (noting that a fair use claim can be made regardless), then remove them from the articles and add {{db-self}} to the images, and an admin will be along to delete them. - Banyan Tree 15:41, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yup, every Answers.com page has a little notice stating that they are using Wikipedia as a source and giving a backlink to the Wikipedia article, as required by the GFDL, normally in very small print at the bottom. I see that you figured out that selecting "Wikipedia use only" as your license will automatically result in the image being listed for speedy deletion. We've found that many people will happily lie about the copyright status of an image as long they can use it on Wikipedia, so there are a couple licensing options that are clearly described as being prohibited in the guide to uploading but which people insist on using. So we just tag them for speedy deletion rather than have to deal with investigating the false copyright claims that result if they are not options. We still get people claiming that photos with "Reuters" in the corner are somehow public domain, for example, but it cuts down on some of the silliness. - Banyan Tree 05:08, 3 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

"Wikipedia only" tagged images are deleted on sight. The fact that the publisher has released them for "Wikipedia use only" means nothing to Wikipedia as it is fundamentally incompatible with the GFDL. If it is not a free image, choose "fair use" and add a section explaining why it is fair use, as you've already done.

Also, I would recommend not removing posts to your talk page. It's a social norm to keep them visible (and searchable), and some users may view blanking as an attempt to hide information. - Banyan Tree 07:15, 4 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
