How does it work if I have someone else write it?==

LeaMitchell (talk) 22:39, 24 March 2020 (UTC) Can you please help?[reply]

Summer Helene.

Description 1 (2-3 sentences):Summer Helene is the host of Behind the Scenes an insider’s guide to the entertainment industry. Behind the Scenes is a weekly Radio show on the Voice America Talk Radio Network.
URL 2:[[Victoria's Secret Models|Summer Helene is one of the former models for Victoria's Secret]]
Description 2 (2-3 sentences): Summer Helene is a former model for Victoria's Secret and is listed as one of the Australian Models to do underwear modeling.
URL 3:[https://www.desertsun.com/story/news/local/palm-springs/2019/07/17/palm-springs-council-candidate-summer-helene-withdraws-from-race-following-election-forum/1752509001/ Desert Sun Article outlining the City Council Campaign]

These will be checked against WP:reliable sources and WP:passing mention documents before adding this request.

Thank you!

Regards, --Gryllida (talk) 08:58, 25 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

LeaMitchell: please first disclose your conflicts of interest, right now. Follow our legal policy as outlined in WP:DISCLOSEPAY or else please immediately cease editing.
Only after you've done that may you either follow Gryllida's advice above or put in a request at Wikipedia:Requested articles/Arts and entertainment/Film, radio and television#S–T. Note that volunteer fulfill requests, so you may not see an article for a long time, if ever.
I looked for sources to see whether Helene meets our inclusion criteria. We are an encyclopedia, not a directory, so our rules as to who merits an article may be much more strict than expected. I found two articles in the Desert Sun. One contains (little more than) a name drop. The other mentions how she failed to secure an endorsement and dropped out of a city council race first.
An article about oneself is not necessarily a good thing.
I have yet to find substantial coverage in independent sources, so she does not pass our general inclusion criteria (WP:GNG). Her political engagement does not meet the threshold for our inclusion criteria for politicians (WP:POLITICIAN): Just being...an unelected candidate for political office, does not guarantee [inclusion in Wikipedia].

Please note: Summer Helene listed as an Australian model on the List of Victoria's Secret models here.

No amount of editing can overcome a lack of notability. That's a frustrating situation to be in. Be honest, let this go, and turn toward more fruitful marketing endeavours. Stay well, Rotideypoc41352 (talk · contribs) 00:20, 26 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Summer Helene requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

A tag has been placed on Summer helene requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.facebook.com/pg/IndependentEntertainer/posts/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

A tag has been placed on Summer Helene., requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A request has been filed for the title of Summer Helene. requesting that it be added to the title blacklist. This has been done because the article appears to be a recreation, under a different title, of an article which is itself currently protected against recreation. Please note that titles used to circumvent the protection policy are often given the same level of protection as the original title the author is trying to circumvent, or are added to the title blacklist.

If you feel that the topic of the article meets our notability guidelines, please request a deletion review or use a request for unprotection instead.

Please note that repeated recreation of an article against a consensus to delete is considered disruptive and may get you blocked from editing. Thank you. Nathan2055talk - contribs 20:50, 3 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello LeaMitchell. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to List of Victoria's Secret models, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:LeaMitchell. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=LeaMitchell|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. – NJD-DE (talk) 15:02, 29 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

As previously advised, your edits, such as the edit you made to List of Victoria's Secret models, give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:LeaMitchell, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=LeaMitchell|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. – NJD-DE (talk) 15:07, 29 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I am not a paid editor just appreciate the work that she does and would like to create the page LeaMitchell (talk) 15:38, 29 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi LeaMitchell, thanks for your reply. I understand her work is important to you. However, please do not add her name to the List of Victoria's Secret models unless she finally has her own Wikipedia article. I have noticed you already invested quite an amount of time into creating such an article. I would recommend before investing time into another draft, to have a look at the helpful links others posted already on your talk page about e.g. our notability guidelines. It may be that it's a case of WP:TOOSOON and at some stage she will meet our notability definition, or it could also be the unfortunate situation that she will never meet the Wikipedia specific definition of notability. In the meantime, you could try to gain some more experience by editing an already existing article. In any case, happy editing. – NJD-DE (talk) 20:24, 29 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

NJD-DE (talk) Hi, what if her name was added to the Women in Red Page LeaMitchell (talk) 17:59, 30 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi LeaMitchell, I am sorry I don't know the details of how the Wikiproject Women in Red works. You could contact others of that Wikiproject at WT:WOMRED. – NJD-DE (talk) 22:53, 30 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

And I undid your edit at List of Victoria's Secret models because it is one big screaming violation of the WP:BLP--and, funny enough, your Summer Helene is in there as well. (NJD-DE, fancy meeting you again!) Drmies (talk) 00:00, 2 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

And again I undid an edit of yours to that list. When Drmies mentioned the redlinks they clearly didn't mean including them without a link. Also when checking some of the linked Wikipedia articles, I had to realize that they either didn't mention Victoria's Secret at all, or no reliable source was provided there. Are you sure you are not here to promote Summer Helene ? Your edits clearly suggest something ... (Drmies I am sensing a pattern about the conversations we are both involved in - one that I don't like. Can't there be something nice to talk about ?)NJD-DE (talk) 17:03, 6 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. If you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. plicit 12:02, 10 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have a financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the end of your user talk page. For that request to be considered, you must:

  • Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
  • State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
  • Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future.

Request reason:

I am not a paid contributor for the pages I created. I came across the founder of this nonprofit online and think it is a noble cause. I realized they did not have a wikipedia to date and tried to create one for both the founder and the nonprofit organization. All information submitted is original and gathered from several news articles. LeaMitchell (talk) 09:23, 14 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

You have suggested that you have some relationship with this organization, as you claimed that you personally created its logo when you uploaded it. If you didn't, then you improperly uploaded the logo to Commons(which can only host copyright-free images) and potentially put Wikipedia in legal jeopardy. Either way, there are no grounds to remove the block. 331dot (talk) 10:00, 14 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Thanks for your contributions to Free MMA. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.
