You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Metro Boomin. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Continuing the disruption of Michigan IP Special:Contributions/2601:40D:4200:1F57:0:0:0:E3. Information icon Hello, I'm AntiDionysius. I noticed that you recently removed content from Lil Mosey without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by inserting commentary or your personal analysis into an article, as you did at Vince Staples. Binksternet (talk) 00:22, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Binksternet, this is 100% a block evasion by Maurice20111 (talk · contribs). I don't have the time to report them. If you got the time, could you perhaps? soetermans. ↑↑↓↓←→←→ B A TALK 03:51, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I will report them to ANI shortly. I have tried to be civil as you can see below, yet the disruptive edits continue. StewdioMACK (talk) 04:06, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Source for claim about Swae Lee

[edit]

Hi. Can you please show me the source that says Swae Lee's father abandoned the family? I reverted your edit but wanted to give you a chance and see if it was true, as you've already apparently been warned about inserting personal commentary. You need to have a verified source for any claims you add to an article.

Also I notice you changing the intros for rappers en masse. Please remember that those paragraphs have often been worked on and debated by experienced editors, and there is often a reason why they say what they do. Listing everything they do right up top may not be necessarily appropriate for every specific article. StewdioMACK (talk) 03:35, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

To add to this, please read MOS:ROLEBIO that says not to crowd the intro with every occupation. This Manual of Style is how things are formatted here at Wikipedia. Please stop changing things just because you prefer it a certain way. You need to start a new section on the talk page and get consensus from your fellow editors. StewdioMACK (talk) 03:39, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Please read Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Biography before making further edits. That page says that where people grew up / birth places should only appear in the lead if relevant to the person's notability. You are alienating your fellow editors and risking a block by continuing to edit war, not using edit summaries that explain your edits, and ignoring established Wikipedia rules. I'm assuming you're a good-faith user and I'd like you to continue contributing here in a constructive manner. Please slow down, talk to us, and read some of our policies.
