Logos

[edit]

Hello. Sorry, but we're only allowed to use copyright logos on a fair-use basis. There's a long policy statement at WP:Non-free content, but what it comes down to is, we can use the Football League logo for identification on the Football League Wikipedia page, but that's all. Similarly with the logo of any other organisation. cheers, Struway2 (talk) 13:40, 11 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for File:Worksop Town FC Badge.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Worksop Town FC Badge.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 17:07, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ben Tomlinson requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Nuttah (talk) 15:38, 7 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

November 2010

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Ben Tomlinson, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Nuttah (talk) 18:13, 7 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Ben Tomlinson has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

fails notability guidelines having not played a game in a fully professional league.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Nuttah (talk) 20:22, 7 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Jon Kennedy (Footballer) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails the WP:NFOOTBALL notability criteria.

Epbr123 (talk) 15:58, 8 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Vickie Powell has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable per WP:PORNBIO, no assertion of notability, no awards won, no significant coverage online in WP:Reliable sources, though subject has abundant mentions in unreliable sources.

In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Sam Byram, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Matthew Jarvis (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in James McCarthy (footballer), makes articles harder to read. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Leeds United Squad Numbers

[edit]

Just a heads up, the numbers for pre season, have not changed 'game by game', players have been given their official squad numbers for the season, which granted haven't yet been made official, the existing players numbers have not 'ceased' to exist. To add the numbers are not the typical 1-11, the likes of Mateusz Klich have squad number 43. The two players to have squad number changes have been Ronaldo Vieira who taken the vacant number 8 shirt, and Paul McKay who has now taken the 16 shirt. The remaining squad members all have the same shirt numbers. Please also see the signing of Hadi Sacko who was unveiled as having the same kit number for the following season.

Good morning, and apologies for the false accusation on my edit summary.

Then, if it happened as you told me (and i guess your point makes sense), i think the said chart should reflect that (two rows of stats for 2016/17, one for loan spell and another for permanent one). I don't know how to perform that task, but rest assured i won't revert again in that department.

Attentively, happy editing --193.137.135.2 (talk) 09:57, 26 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. Mattythewhite sorry, I hadn't realise I had. Are you sure this wasn't someone else? There was another revision after me from another user.
