This file should not be speedy deleted as bearing an improper license, because Marla Feller has given permission (by email) for this image to be used in the Wikipedia article titled "Retinal Waves." --Leelindseya (talk) 00:14, 11 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The problem is that you indicated the picture may be used only on Wikipedia. Wikipedia cannot accept files with this restriction, because our content is freely available for others to use.   • There is another problem, too. You said "Marla Feller has given permission (by email)". To whom was this email sent? It may have been sent to the Wikimedia foundation, but if so you did not make that clear. If, however, it was sent to you, then we have only your unsupported word that copyright permission has been granted. Since anyone can create a Wikipedia account and make any claims they like, we cannot accept the unsupported word of a Wikipedia editor on copyright issues.
