India quick links[edit]

Providing sources[edit]

Hi! Your work on Indian film actors is greatly appreciated. I noticed that you provide sources as [1], [2] etc. You need not do that. Just include the sources between ref tags. Eg. <ref></ref>. Now, the </references/> will automatically number these references.

For example and better understanding, see Reena Roy and Jayachitra (I've updated them to include the ref tags). utcursch | talk 10:25, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

RE: For Pete's sake[edit]

Sorry but according to Wikipedia's copyright policies we cannot keep articles which contain copyrighted material. A link was picked up and the article contained duplicate information from that url. If you wish to recreate the article please do so in your own words. Thank you.¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 21:13, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

remakes[edit]

Hi, you seem to have added information on few remakes of movies into Telegu. But, you have not provided any source for that info. Also, IMDB does not list those movies. Please provide source for such info, else anyone can remove those. FYI, I am also aware of similar info for many films (not in Telegu though), but due to lack of sources, I do not want to add such info in WP. Hope you understand the issue. Thanks. --GDibyendu (talk) 14:30, 21 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Noel Marshall[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Noel Marshall, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Subject lacks non-trivial coverage in reliable, third-party sources that would establish notability and allow for a full, neutral, biography to be written about this individual

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Cheers, CP 18:21, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Legalwatchdog! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. if you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 936 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:

  1. Sulakshana Pandit - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL
  2. Clay A. Griffith - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

The article Victoria Sellers has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable celebrity spawn, picking on her non-notable legal troubles seems mean-spirited and violates spirit of WP:BLP

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Herostratus (talk) 13:43, 4 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Victoria Sellers, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Victoria Sellers. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Herostratus (talk) 13:11, 5 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for April 25[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Chhoti Si Baat, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Zameer (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Marking all edits as minor[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. --McGeddon (talk) 20:32, 10 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Again, please only mark your edits as "minor" if they are genuinely minor changes such as typos and formatting. If you are adding or removing content, do not mark it as minor. --McGeddon (talk) 21:35, 27 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Chattakkari (1974 film) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not meet WP:GNG and WP:FILM. The first two references do not contain in-depth coverage as they are just generic database entries. The third one is actually about a modern remake notable only for being completed in "just 25 days".

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
