Partapur Railway Station moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Partapur Railway Station, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Discretionary sanctions alert
[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.
For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Disambiguation link notification for June 13
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Gautam Gambhir, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Nupur Sharma. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:23, 13 June 2022 (UTC)

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
[edit] Hi Libreravi! Thank you for your edits to Zee News. It looks like you've copied or moved text from 2020–2021 Indian farmers' protest into that page, and while you are welcome to re-use the content, Wikipedia's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. If you've copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thanks! DanCherek (talk) 13:39, 20 August 2022 (UTC)
- Hi @DanCherek, first of all thanks a lot for pointing that out and assisting me in how to correct my mistake. I have made a dummy edit on Zee News page giving proper attribution. It would be great if you can confirm if everything is alright there.
- (Libreravi (talk) 13:49, 20 August 2022 (UTC))
- The edit summary is great, thank you! But now that it has been done, I would recommend undoing your latest dummy edit to restore the proper lowercase capitalization of the section heading, if that makes sense (i.e., "farmers' protests" should not be capitalized). DanCherek (talk) 13:52, 20 August 2022 (UTC)
- Done. Thanks a lot @DanCherek for all the help.(Libreravi (talk) 13:57, 20 August 2022 (UTC))

Why do you have to add this WP:UNDUE content when you have already dedicated entire section to be about protests against remission?
Here, you added news material and statements of those with conflict of interest for adding those sentences which are beyond WP:EXCEPTIONAL and WP:RGW. Do you treat Indian investigative agencies same as Gestapoo? This will require a much better source than what you are using.
While this edit by you was entirely unnecessary.
You need to understand WP:NOTNEWS and avoid writing like a reporter. Your number of edits reeks of WP:NOTNEWS, WP:UNDUE and also WP:RGW but you are supposed to avoid that. Pranesh Ravikumar (talk) 04:34, 28 August 2022 (UTC)
- Hey @Pranesh Ravikumar, Thanks a lot for explaining in detail and reviewing my edits. I will be extremely cautious about these points in my future edits. For now, I see you have fixed the errors mentioned above.
- (Libreravi (talk) 06:35, 28 August 2022 (UTC))
- I've restored most of this, they do not "reek of WP:NOTNEWS, WP:UNDUE and also WP:RGW". RGW in particular refers to content that are not verifiable from reliable and secondary sources which your additions were and can't possibly apply here, this is at best a content dispute over whether something is undue or not. By my reckoning the first two have more than sufficient weight for inclusion, although I'd say that in the Bilkis Bano case, perhaps you could condense the material more as it skews the coverage towards recent events (see WP:RECENTISM). That's the only problem and certainly does not require this kind of overtly aggressive responses from Ravikumar, otherwise good work. Tayi Arajakate Talk 15:42, 29 August 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks a lot for your inputs @Tayi Arajakate. I will try condensing the section on Bilkis Bano case. (Libreravi (talk) 19:08, 29 August 2022 (UTC))

In July 2015 around 15.5% of the English Wikipedia's biographies were about women. As of July 2023, 19.61% of the English Wikipedia's biographies are about women.
