Your draft only suggests changes in one paragraph. But maybe you could also add a line about the air pollution of oil spill in the lead section?

The structure of your paragraph is clear, but maybe you could rewrite your first pair of sentences into one clear summary sentence of the paragraph (Oil spill can also harm air quality. The chemicals in crude oil are mostly hydrocarbons. It contains toxic chemicals such as benzenes, toluene, poly-aromatic hydrocarbon and oxygenated polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons)

You suggestion for an extra paragraph will make the whole article more in balance. However the paragraph about oil spill is mostly on the negative environmental effects. Are there any positive effects? (Probably not, but maybe worth exploring?)

The sources seem reliable, however the three books that you mentioned are hard to check, because there are no page numbers included.

I think that your suggestions could be very helpful in improving the article. However, it would have been easier for my as a peer reviewer if you copied the whole article in your sandbox and indicated in the article the suggested changes. This would provide an easy overview of all the suggested changes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sophiepak27 (talkcontribs) 00:21, 25 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
