McKusick
[edit]Please have a look at my comments on Talk:Victor A. McKusick before reinserting parts of the article. JFW | T@lk 18:33, 26 April 2006 (UTC)
- I was hoping you'd respond to my message on Talk:Victor A. McKusick. An interview that has not been published, or personally gathered information, is original research that is not suitable according to Wikipedia policy. Sorry to carry on about this, but this is really how it works. JFW | T@lk 14:02, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
I'd be honoured to call VAM a "friend". Great. Now please don't hesitate to refer to the interview as a source once it has been published in Arch Dis Child.
One hopes you'll stay around to do some more editing on medical history. I try to add a history section to all clinical articles I write. These are the things that one doesn't normally find in clinical reviews, and it is one of the strengths of Wikipedia. Clinical articles should have a section on humanities anyway (e.g. famous patients - in moderation - and cultural references).
Let me know if you need any further assistance. And send VAM my regards. He is legendary. JFW | T@lk 21:38, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
Medical expert
[edit]Mi Poling, my comment about the Freeman-Sheldon syndrome article needing an expert was in no way meant to reflect on the article itself.
I was going through the wikify backlogs and when I came to yours, I knew I was not qualified to to it (though I have a Ph.D. in a medical field). I was just trying to draw attention to the article from an expert as an alert to other wikifiers. I apologize to you if you interpreted my actions negatively. KarenAnn 11:53, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
License tagging for Image:DSCF0472.JPG
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:DSCF0472.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 08:05, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
