File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Roxy by Proxy.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Roxy by Proxy.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status and its source. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously.

If you did not create this work entirely yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. You will also need to state under what licensing terms it was released. Please refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file.

Please add this information by editing the image description page. If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nick—Contact/Contribs 16:41, 25 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of A Token Of His Extreme Soundtrack, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://forums.stevehoffman.tv/threads/frank-zappas-a-token-of-his-extreme-to-be-released-in-june.315543/.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) Deletion discussion about ZAPPAtite[edit]

Hello, MJPartington,

I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether ZAPPAtite should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/ZAPPAtite .

If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

Thanks,

Eddie Blick (talk) 18:48, 25 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Will Oldham discography[edit]

There are two releases listed under EPs that are singles. Each only has two tracks one on each side. That is a single not an extended player.

The Happy Song / At The Corner Of The Stairs – Bonnie 'Prince' Billy & Oscar Parsons (Split EP) (Palace Records PR502)

And

The Best Of Folks/Harbour Men, 7″ – Bonnie Prince Billy/Naked Shortsellers (Split EP)

These are singles are they not?

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Baby Snakes The Compleat Soundtrack.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Baby Snakes The Compleat Soundtrack.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 20:03, 5 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
