Transfermarkt

[edit]

Since most of its content is user-generated, Transfermarkt is not a reliable source. Please do not cite the website in articles, as you did with Lucas Espíndola and Gonzalo Soto. Thank you. Sir Sputnik (talk) 16:29, 2 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Sergio Fabian Ezequiel Aguero. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you. Sir Sputnik (talk) 18:27, 4 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Sir Sputnik: The player will play in a top professional league (The Malaysia Super League) and sources are given through references. In Addition, his past information has also been given in the external links. It is noted that the links are in Hungarian, however as per WP:GNG, sources does not have to be in English as i quote from WP:GNG, Sources do not have to be available online or written in English.. Henceforth what else is needed then? Reply then talk. --Malaysianfootball (talk) 18:37, 4 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice that Darren Lok, a page that you created, has been tagged for deletion. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. A tag has been placed on Kiko Insa requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". The reason I have nominated this for deletion, is because it appears he has not actually played for the club yet. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 21:37, 9 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Cédric Djeugoué

[edit]

Both sources you have tried to use say he is in discussions/has agreed terms - but not that he has actually signed. Wait for confirmation. GiantSnowman 07:55, 9 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Kiko Insa

[edit]

The article Kiko Insa has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Article about a footballer who fails WP:GNG and who has not played in a fully pro league.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Speedy deletion nomination of Mohamadou Sumareh

[edit]

Hello Malaysianfootball,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Mohamadou Sumareh for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source, probably infringing copyright.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.
