Proposed deletion of Irene Santiago[edit]

The article Irene Santiago has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. Your request at Identifying Reliable Sources[edit]

Regarding Irene Santiago, it's unlikely that you're going to get much help since Wikipedia is a do-it-yourself kind of place. To prevent its deletion, you need to find at least one reliable source as defined by Wikipedia for the material in the article (click that link for the definition) and link it to the information by a inline citation. Don't be tempted to use IMDB as a source, as it is not considered reliable under Wikipedia's standards. The movies themselves can be used to source her participation, provided that she is listed in the credits, but those are considered primary sources and an article about a living person cannot be entirely supported by primary sources, so you're going to have to find and cite at least one third party reliable source. I have to wonder if you posted at Identifying Reliable Sources because you figured out at least part of that and went there trying to figure out the details. And then, when you were digging into it, it just seemed to be too complicated and too much trouble. (And, indeed, it is complicated and difficult; I edited here for a couple of years before I thought I understood everything well enough to create an article which would survive.) If that's what happened, then there is a very good chance that no one is going to do it for you and the article is going to be deleted. If that happens, one thing you can do (though you should wait until the existing article is deleted before doing it), is to make a request at Requested articles for the article to be created on your behalf.
