Welcome![edit]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:

Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia:

The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome! Hello Mario988 - when adding to a list of people, we use alphabetical order, which is based on surname first wherever possible. This means that Liam Miller should be listed under "M", Richie Laryea should be under "L", Jonathan Osorio should be under "O" and Lucas Cavallini should be under "C". Please correct your edits. Thanks, PKT(alk) 16:15, 22 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ok thanks Mario988 (talk) 06:16, 29 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Round 2: amigo, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's surname begins with G, not A, and I've already fixed the issue......PKT(alk) 21:32, 30 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Oh thanks, sorry Mario988 (talk) 21:35, 30 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Look Mario, your contributions have been OK, but can you please try to add them in a way that doesn't create work for other people. Please be more considerate........ PKT(alk) 21:59, 30 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ok! Mario988 (talk) 22:02, 30 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

U.S.[edit]

Hi there. I saw your edit to add "U.S" to the birthplace at Damian Lillard. If you make other similar edits, can you also remove the the |nationality=American parameter, if present, per WP:INFONAT? Thanks.—Bagumba (talk) 07:00, 15 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Sciencefish (talk) 08:06, 15 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced or poorly sourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Keean Johnson. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 03:22, 22 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

BLP discretionary sanctions alert[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

To opt out of receiving messages like this one, place {{Ds/aware}} on your user talk page and specify in the template the topic areas that you would like to opt out of alerts about. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
