a couple of thoughts[edit]

Great edit at Second Empire architecture, those architects were an excellent addition to the article, though I'd not consider the edit to be a "minor" one. Secondly, Detroit has the habit of turning out some fine editors, might you be one? And finally, if you put something,anything on your user page then your user name will appear as a blue link rather than a red one suggesting, among things, that all your edits do not need to be double checked. Second Empire architecture[edit]

Heyo Markhole! My name is TechFilmer, and I saw your work on Second Empire architecture. The article is very thorough but it lacks a couple of things, namely inline citations. If you wouldn't mind adding some of those in, we would all greatly appreciate it. Refs can be added by typing

Hi![edit]

When you do -91 useful things to an article, would you please leave a little edit summary so that I don't think it's some horrible vandal deleting stuff? Amandajm (talk) 15:35, 16 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

No, it wasn't intended to be sarcastic. It is simply that when one sees the -91 changes have been made to a watched article, the watcher is obliged to check. However, if one sees from the edit summary that the -91 is accounted for by the reformatting of spaces, then I don't bother to check. Particularly when I know that a named editor regularly applies themselves to tweaking formatting in that manner. I watch a lot of articles, and I would rather not have to search for the minor tweaks made by people who simply tidy-up. There is enough work to do with those people whose -91 means a significant gap in the wording! Amandajm (talk) 07:28, 17 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I am wondering why[edit]

After a couple of weeks searching I've finally documented that the Thompson Home for Old Ladies was designed by Mason & Rice. Back in that day architects rarely, if ever did projects such as that outside whatever firm they were in. I will make some changes to those articles and probably a few more. I.O.O.F. Centennial Building[edit]

I intend to nominate this for a WP:DYK. We need a good hook. Maybe we should add more about the Odd Fellows and the architecture from the Alpena News article. Harv error detection[edit]

Your welcome! Very good work on creating articles = way better than most!

An idea to be able to detect "harv errors" like I do here,
is to go to the Wikipedia:Help desk and ask for the "Harv Error" detection tool and how to install. Then when dates (or whatever) don't match,

I notice you are putting to good use the markers I photographed at Brush Park. Since when I have a digital camera, I started to photographing them. Do you happen to know about copyright content of a marker? can someone use it on a wiki article?
