AfD nomination of BML Hillen Keene[edit]

I've nominated BML Hillen Keene, an article you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that BML Hillen Keene satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion; I have explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/BML Hillen Keene and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of BML Hillen Keene during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Pascal.Tesson 16:31, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • How come these are nominated for deletion ? They seem fine to me. The only thing I can see that is wrong is that he did not format the titles correctly so that they would show in the table of contents. --Jackaranga 16:37, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Sorry you are right it should be deleted in my opinion also. I didn't know about not writing about books that are not well known, but it does make sense. --Jackaranga 16:42, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Martyn1987 16:45, 7 February 2007 (UTC)What is the point of deleting the page. It doesn't achieve anything by doing so. It is not like it is full of stuff made up. Plus there is also much more work to be done. Proper tables and content to be done. Add the picture of the book onto the page etc.[reply]
Some extra explanations about why I have nominated the articles for deletion. Please do not take this too personally. I do believe that you are either BML Hillen Keene or someone closely related to her. For starters, this creates a conflict of interest. Furthermore, Wikipedia is not a soapbox and article subjects should reach a minimal threshold of notability. In particular, it is important that there exists reliable third-party sources about the subject for the content of Wikipedia should be verifiable. There are specific guidelines for inclusion of biographical articles and articles about books and I feel that the present articles fail to meet the requirements exposed there. If you disagree, please comment at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/BML Hillen Keene. Thanks, Pascal.Tesson 16:51, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Kroymans Corporation Group, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.findtheneedle.co.uk/companies/113321-stertil-stokvis.asp. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot 20:14, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Duplicate images uploaded[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Nippi.JPG. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Nipparts.jpg. The copy called Image:Nipparts.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 15:59, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:Nipparts-stock.jpg[edit]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Nipparts-stock.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI 20:03, 11 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Hobart crest.gif[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Hobart crest.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Martyn1987! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to this article, it would greatly help us with the current 939 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Geoff Norcott - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Orphaned non-free image File:Nipparts.jpg[edit]

However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:48, 24 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
