Hello![edit]

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. I see that you have an interest in the article about the United States Military Academy. That's fine. But please stop changing the name of Winfield Scott to Willard Warren Scott Jr. as a person buried in the cemetery there. Winfield Scott is definitely buried there, according to sources. I could not find any sources that Willard Warren Scott is buried there. And even if he is and you have sources to say so, his name could be ADDED but it should not replace the name of Winfield Scott. Thanks. -- MelanieN (talk) 03:35, 5 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Ateneo Blue Spikers Volleybal Team[edit]

I have created Ateneo Blue Spikers Volleybal Team. I hope you will be able to rework it to a well sourced, on-the-topic, non-fancruft article. The Banner talk 10:15, 22 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

2019 Premier Volleyball League Collegiate Conference[edit]

Hi Matthew Josef, in the premier volleyball league (match results P–2), teams are abbreviated as follows: Adamson – ADU, Ateneo – ADM, Perpetual – UPH. Hi Matther Josef. You really need to clarify why you keep moving this "draft" to the "Wikipedia" namespace. If you're just making a innocent mistake because you're not familiar with how Wikipedia works, then others are going to be more than happy to try and help sort things out. If, however, you continue to say nothing and move the page yet again, then others are going to likely assume the worst and suggest that an administrator step in and take steps to resolve this matter once and for all. There may not be a lot of ways to try and help you even if you do clarify why you're doing this, but there are practically no way to try and help you if you keep silent and continue on as before. -- Marchjuly (talk) 23:31, 12 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
As is Draft:Ateneo Blue Eaglets is just not ready for Wikipedia. Work on it and see if you can bring it up. CambridgeBayWeather, Uqaqtuq (talk), Sunasuttuq 09:59, 13 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Voting in the 2019 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 on Monday, 2 December 2019. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2019 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:24, 19 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Adamson Soaring Falcons[edit]

Hi Matthew Josef. You're more than welcome to discuss the changes you think should be made to the article at Talk:Adamson Soaring Falcons, but much of your edit here was not really an improvement. Not were some formatting errors introduced, the excessive use of icons and the information on the team rosters is not really appropriate for this particular article. There has been some discussion about this at Wikipedia talk:Tambayan Philippines/Archive43#Philippine university athletic team articles already and there is a discussion I started on the article's talk page about the team rosters that you can comment on if you like. -- Marchjuly (talk) 04:37, 3 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Society of Jesus does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → check Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Red link on Karl L. Schultz[edit]

Hi! I noticed you removed a red link on this article. It's ok to have a red link on an article, and in cases where the subject is likely to be notable, it's encouraged (see Wikipedia:Red link). The USCGC Farallon (WPB-1301) belongs to the Island cutter class. Many of her sister ships already have articles. See Template:Island class cutter. With that in mind, it seems quite likely an article on the Farallon would be considered notable, and therefore a redlink for the article is entirely appropriate. If you have questions about this, let me know. Thanks, --Hammersoft (talk) 12:38, 5 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

July 2020[edit]

I've noticed that you've been changing the size of seals and logos in college articles from image_upright to image_size. This is advised against, according to MOS:IMGSIZE: "except with very good reason, a fixed width in pixels (e.g. 17px) should not be specified." Thanks. Contributor321 (talk) 18:04, 24 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Again, please stop changing image_upright= to image_size= px, as you recently did at Santa Clara University. See MOS:IMGSIZE for reasons why. Contributor321 (talk) 16:30, 25 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Xavier University, you may be blocked from editing. Again, please use American English in articles about American subjects: use "color", not "colour,", as I noted in reverting one of your other edits. In this edit (Jul 18) you went through and added spaces into the middle of URLs breaking them all. Not only is this kind of vandalism difficult to detect in diffs, it is difficult and time consuming to find and fix even when you know its there, and it causes a lot of damage by breaking every URL in the article. -- GreenC 12:40, 5 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

And your still doing it as of August 5. diff/ This is serious and blatant vandalism. I'm going to revert all your edits as untrustworthy and notifying admin @DMacks:. -- GreenC 12:43, 5 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You've repeatedly insisted on using non-American English for American articles, and persist in changing logo and seal sizes to image_size=px (instead of image_upright= (as per MOS:IMGSIZE)). Edit summaries explaining why your edits have been reverted are ignored, as are requests here on your Talk page asking you to stop editing disruptively. Since you've continued to do so even after being blocked, I'm left with no choice but to notify admin @DMacks:. Contributor321 (talk) 04:49, 10 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Indeed. While the actual word "colour" (or "color") isn't displayed, it's part of a pattern of disruptive edits due to ignoring others' concerns. There is still a pattern of whitespace mistakes and inappropriate content that I see, as well as the image disruption others note. WP:CIR/school-booster-WP:SPA?
