You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:MEMIDOS, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. August 2022[edit]

Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of username and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 15:16, 23 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I did not mean to use the site for promotion, so I would like my account to be unlocked, by changing my username.I would like to use this account to create new articles, if it is edit some already existing one with relevant information

Decline reason:

You will need to tell us what topics you are interested in editing about. You will also need to read WP:COI and WP:PAID and describe any connection you have to the subject of your edits. 331dot (talk) 09:13, 24 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict)Hi! I'm afraid the system thinks the name you've chosen is too similar to existing usernames (Peter Jorgensen, Peter Jörgensen, Peter Jørgensen and Peter.Jorgensen). If any of those is yours, please let me know; otherwise, please choose a different name. To be unblocked you'll need to make a rather more specific response to the three bullet-points (Disclose ... , Convince ... , Describe ... ) in the dirty yellow template above. Thanks, Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 09:15, 24 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I do not receive any compensation from anyone in order to make changes. I do understand, that my previous username seemd to be advertisment for a subject, that was not my intention with it. It was, and it is still not my intention to use Wikipedia as a marketing platform. I would like to write an article about a company, so if people are searching for it, they can find relevant information, facts and read the history of the company. Also, if I find some already existing pages, and I have additional information, I would like to be able to edit and make it better for the readers.

Decline reason:

What you are describing is WP:PROMO. Additionally, pretty clearly you have a conflict of interest and count as a paid editor. Yamla (talk) 13:28, 24 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I see your point, as you can see am I new to Wikipedia and it looks like I have not been preparing myself good enough. You are right, according to this description  WP:COI I have a conflict of interest, because I am the sole owner of the company. Link to: company data
I would like to start an article (or a fact sheet) about the company MEMIDOS like there is for many other companies on Wikipedia. As I understand the description  WP:COI can I still be allow to do so, if I clearly state that I have conflict of interest because I am owner. Have I understood this correctly?
Your feedback and advice would be highly appreciated. Memidos (talk) 11:59, 25 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I have tried to unblock myself a couple of times above, also asked the following question but did´n receive reply, so I try again. As you can see I am new to Wikipedia and it looks like I have not been preparing myself good enough. I would like to know, if my request is possible. According to this description WP:COI I have a conflict of interest, because I am the sole owner of the company. Link to: company data

Have I understood this correctly?

Your company is almost certainly not notable, so I am not going to waste other volunteers' time by unblocking you just so you can attempt to create an article about it, even if you do so in a WP:COI-compliant manner. If you are interested in editing Wikipedia about other topics, please submit a new unblock request explaining what you would like to edit about. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she|they|xe) 23:31, 6 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You seem to have a fundamental understanding about how Wikipedia works. It is an encyclopedia, with articles about topics that are deemed to be notable - of interest to the world at large and over a period of time. We use evidence from reliable and independent sources to gauge this interest.

In the case of a company, it is not entitled to have an article simply because it exists; this isn't a business directory. A company must have already received significant coverage from multiple reliable, third-party sources to prove that it has met Wikipedia's definition of a notable company.

As you have an inherent conflict of interest writing about your own company, it is unlikely that administrators will unblock your account so you can write about it, at least in the short term. Instead, they will want to know other topic areas you are interested in editing that are unrelated to your conflict of interest. Building up an editing record with other topics will help you gain experience and knowledge of Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, while also reassuring the editing community that you do not intend to use Wikipedia solely for self-serving purposes.

If you have no interest in writing about any other topic besides your company, then please consider using alternative outlets that permit this type of writing. Thank you. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 15:12, 30 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you wish to stop editing, you may simply abandon the account. It is not possible to delete accounts. Mori Calliope fan talk 06:38, 31 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
