October 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello. Some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to Khaled Juffali, have conflicted with our neutral point of view and/or verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you seek consensus for certain edits by discussing the matter on the article's talk page. Transcendental36 (talk) 15:48, 14 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, For sure I agree with you, But also I believe that the changes should be removed till the editors who wrote it provides a proof and realible sources in order to make sure that they are not publishing misleading information. Mikesolary (talk) 16:10, 14 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Mikesolary. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Khaled Juffali, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Edwardx (talk) 22:04, 16 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Edwardx,
Thank you for allowing me to discuss this point with you. And I have no relationship or any conflict of interest here.
I just would like to have a valid contribution in Wikipedia.
And Al Jazeera only wrote this news as an investigation without providing proof that he purchased the passport , also they are not mentioning that his family members purchased the passport as written in his Wikipedia article.
Even if Aljazeera are considered as reliable source that doesn’t mean what they wrote is a fact , specially if there is no proof to support this claim , and as I believe that Wikipedia Articles should be about real facts only , to avoid publishing misleading information.

Thanks. Mikesolary (talk) 00:13, 17 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Mikesolary, thank you for your reply. It is unusual for contributors who only eidt on one subject and do so persistently not to have some sort of conflict of interest and/or some involvement in paid editing. Have you read the COI policies in full? I have addressed all your points at Talk:Khaled Juffali and trimmed mention of his children from the article accordingly.
