Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Phillips Distilling Company, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Manitowoc. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:05, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked as a sockpuppet

[edit]
Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts as a sockpuppet of User:Buzzards-Watch Me Work per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Buzzards-Watch Me Work. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 22:19, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Mistakenly Labeled as a Sockpuppet!

Request reason:

Hello. I have been blocked as a Sockpuppet. But, I am not one! I said that this was all a major mistake in the talk page for the incorrect claim against me, however I was blocked for some reason. No Check User was run against me to validate my innocence. I have been an editor in good standing and wish this horrible mistake gets reversed. Much appreciated!

Decline reason:

First, as I say so often but never in the exact same way, proclaiming you're not a sockpuppet is (counterintuitively, I admit) absolutely the worst way to get unblocked from sockpuppetry. Think about it: if that were all it took to get unblocked, we might as well not have a rule against scokpuppetry because enforcement would be a joke.

Also, we don't do checkusers to prove people's innocence, not because we're petty Internet tyrants as everyone seems to think but because ... again, just think about it: Could Checkuser really prove two accounts are run by separate people? No, of course not! There are just too many people out there who could create the appearance of separate users and might just fool us if they didn't insist on all writing the same way. And in your case it is for exactly that latter reason that it was unnecessary to run Checkuser. — Daniel Case (talk) 06:22, 27 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Wrongly Blocked

[edit]

@Bbb23: I hope you are doing well. I was blocked by you for being a Sockpuppet just recently. However, it is all a major mistake and my innocence can be proved. I even spoke up in the talk page of the wrongly filed claim against me. I really like it here on Wikipedia and have tried extremely hard to make good contributions. I wish this awful mistake can be reversed. I have also applied to block reversal. Much appreciated —Minneaditor (talk) 23:05, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello!

[edit]

Hello Snooganssnoogans! It seems like we got off on the wrong foot for some reason. First, I would like to say that I do not have connection to the Sockpuppet or am a paid editor. I have been a major editor for the past 5 months and came here under good intentions. I have recently applied to have my wrongly placed block removed. As for the Scott Jensen article, I can see how what you mentioned is puff. I think it would be wise, since they are all sourced with highly reliable sources like local newspapers, ABC News, and CBS News, to move that material from the lead to fill less substantial parts of the article. How does that sound? I do truly hope my wrongly placed block is removed promptly. Thanks! Minneaditor (talk) 23:11, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Help!

[edit]

Hello Berrely! I have been mistakenly blocked as a sockpuppet even though this is the first wikipedia account I have ever made. Since I can be proven innocent, how is the quickest way to undo the wrongly placed block against me? I have applied for block reversal already. Thank you! Minneaditor (talk) 23:27, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Help!

[edit]

Hello AlsoWukai! You have been so gracious to have edited many of my edits over the past five months. However, I have been wrongly labeled as a Sockpuppet! This person seems to have edited similar articles as me but I do not happen to know why I was incorrectly labeled as such since I have been a editor in good standing. Since I can be proven innocent, how is the quickest way to undo the wrongly placed block against me? I have applied for block reversal already. Thank you! --Minneaditor (talk) 23:38, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I'm afraid I have no idea. AlsoWukai (talk) 06:07, 27 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
