Welcome!

Hello, Mojei, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}} before the question. Again, welcome! P.S. I would probably just start working on articles for the moment. I'm somewhat involved in WikiProject Orphanage, but there are plenty of other things to do on the 'pedia, as well. Have fun.--Aervanath lives in the Orphanage 19:00, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

JFK Reloaded

[edit]

Why did you remove all the informations about the 3 first players ? The battle was hard and you remove us? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Stephanekrupa (talkcontribs) 15:42, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

JFK Reloaded was cited by another Wikipedia user as having severe quality issues, and so I deleted the competition text to improve it. Wikipedia is not for publicizing high scores in video game contests. It is especially not for publicizing your own personal high scores! I will edit the article to make clear that the competition was important to the design of the game itself, but no more. If anyone wants to find out more about you, they can follow the JFKaos link at the bottom. JFKaos is looking to interview you and you can have them post your information there. - Mojei (talk) 18:11, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Contribution team

[edit]

Greetings! Please excuse this intrusion on your talk page, and allow me to invite you to participate in the newly-formed Wikipedia Contribution Team (WP:CONTRIB for short)! The goal of the team is to attract more and better contributions to the English Wikipedia, as well as to help support the fundraising team in our financial and editing contribution goals. We have lots of stuff to work on, from minor and major page building, to WikiProject outreach, article improvement, donor relations, and more—in fact, part of our mission is to empower team members to make their own projects to support our mission. Some of our projects only take a few minutes to work on, while others can be large, multi-person tasks—whatever your interest level, we're glad to have you.

If this sounds interesting, please visit WP:CONTRIB and sign onto the team. Even if there does not appear to be anything that really speaks out as being work you'd like to do, I'd encourage you to join and follow the project anyway, as the type of work we'll be doing will certainly evolve and change over time. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me, or ask on the team talk page. Regards, DanRosenthal Wikipedia Contribution Team 22:19, 18 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, this is a human edit (not a bot). I'm specifically contacting you as you expressed interest in the Campus Ambassador position, and the Wikipedia Contributions Team has a lot of commonality in working along with the Campus Ambassadors. You can reach me on my talk page, or by email at drosenthal@wikimedia.org with questions; I can't guarantee that I'll be checking back on your talk page often enough to hold a sustained conversation there. Edit comments

[edit]

Be careful in the language you use in Concorde, you called ref tags "spam" which is not accurate nor necessary. FWiW Bzuk (talk) 17:19, 6 December 2010 (UTC).[reply]

Sorry! Message on your talk page. - Mojei (talk) 18:14, 6 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Hi M, thanks for your note on my talk page. To be clear, I assumed that the edit comment was directed to earlier tags located in the same passage of the Concorde article. My concern was in the use of the term "spam". This euphemism has a decidedly negative connotation and really should only be applied to cases of deliberate insertion of commercial or biased messages and seems to have derived from the "junk mail" that proliferates on the Internet email and message boards. Again, no offense taken. FWiW Bzuk (talk) 18:21, 6 December 2010 (UTC).[reply]

Emperor Huaizong of Song

[edit]

Hi, somebody moved the page back to Emperor Bing of Song without concensus and I don't know how to revert it. Please get involved. ► Philg88 ◄ talk 15:03, Sunday March 6, 2011 (UTC)

Switched it back. He may be correctly called Emperor Bing, but if that is true, someone should be able to come up with something. Even an unsourced assertion that someone can slap a "citation needed" on is better than nothing. - Mojei (talk) 04:26, 17 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It's been moved again by the same user. I posted a polite mention citing WP:CONCENSUS rather than WP:ANI. If WP convention is to use the temple name then it should be Emperor Huaizong of Song with a redirect from Emperor Bing of Song, not vice versa. If it really is an exception then a reputable and verifiable (English) citation should be in place and I don't believe that there is one. Best, ► Philg88 ◄ talk 08:13, 18 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
