November 2014

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Barkeep. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Meredith Kessler without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! January 2017

[edit]

Information icon You have again removed cited content from the article on Meredith Kessler on 29 December 2016 and 6 January 2017. This edit is the same as you made in November 2014. If you wish to see this content remove, please discuss it on the article talk page at Talk:Meredith Kessler#Hit and run case.-- Toddy1 (talk) 09:39, 7 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove information from articles, as you did to Meredith Kessler. Wikipedia is not censored, and content is not removed on the sole grounds of perceived offensiveness. Please discuss this issue on the article's talk page to reach consensus rather than continuing to remove the disputed material. If the content in question involves images, you also have the option to configure Wikipedia to hide the images that you may find offensive. Thank you.-- Toddy1 (talk) 08:10, 11 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. Wikipedia is not censored. Any further changes which have the effect of censoring an article, such as you did to Meredith Kessler, will be regarded as vandalism. If you continue in this manner, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. -- Toddy1 (talk) 00:21, 18 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Meredith Kessler. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.-- Toddy1 (talk) 00:31, 18 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Before reverting/removing content on the article Meredith Kessler, please have a discussion on the article's talk page. I would like to understand more of your edit summary comments of "This content is not acceptable per Wikipedia policies of acceptable content," "One sided agenda," and "This is not a news source. Your agenda is obvious. Stop." Thank you. BarkeepChat 19:02, 18 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

The full report is at the edit warring noticeboard. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 04:02, 24 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Continuation of the edit war at Meredith Kessler

[edit]

WIth this edit you resumed the revert war from January. See a complaint about your edits at my talk page. If you don't respond to the issue and agree to wait for consensus it is likely you will be indefinitely blocked from Wikipedia. The original report about the hit-and-run accident is from a local ABC TV station. We would normally consider that a reliable source. If you have other sources that disagree you are invited to produce them. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 02:03, 25 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
