It's best to create and develop new articles in your User space like your Sandbox or in Draft space. Articles put directly into the main space of the project are subject to review and will be deleted if they don't meet Wikipedia standards for sourcing and completeness. When you create an article and believe it is ready, submit it to Articles for Creation where an experienced editor can review it and offer you guidance on whether or not it is appropriate to be moved into the main space.
