Multiple accounts

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Monotune, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia, such as Ade223 (talk · contribs). Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by RoySmith (talkcontribs) 17:39, 14 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I do not have multiple accounts. I have one. Someone keeps editing my page. I have rightfully edited the garbage off my page. I believe it is someone who works for my ex wife. It is slander. Please block them. Thank you! Michael Lockwood Monotune (talk) 05:10, 16 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The user you mention above does not exists. Monotune (talk) 05:11, 16 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Editing your own article and legal threats

[edit]

Hi Monotune! Welcome to Wikipedia! Please note that making legal threats is not allowed on Wikipedia and editing your own article is discouraged. That said, you can still resolve problems on your own Wikipedia article.

Jtbc; "you can still resolve problems [with] your own Wikipedia article" by discussing them on the article's talk page.

People should not edit articles about themselves, per our Conflict of interest guideline;

Information icon Hello, Monotune. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. - wolf 17:32, 26 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing certain pages (Michael Lockwood (guitarist)) for disruptive COI editing.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Drmies (talk) 23:47, 20 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please see WP:BIOSELF. I can't let you continue editing the article the way you did--and please don't EVER say things like you said in that edit summary that I just blanked. Drmies (talk) 23:49, 20 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
