Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Weta has been reverted.
Your edit here to Weta was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c_n0mbpX4KE) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. Please consider using our upload facility to upload a suitable media file, or consider linking to the original.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. An article you recently created, Robert McLachlan (mathematician),, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. pseudonym Jake Brockman talk 23:41, 14 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Aola Richards moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Aola Richards, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). Hi, the reason why I've moved this to drafts is that notability has not been shown, and therefore the article would have been a deletion candidate had it remained in the main space.
Notability can be established in one of two ways: either the person is inherently notable, in this case as an eminent scientist, but I cannot see anything in the career details to suggest that; feel free to review the criteria at WP:NACADEMIC and let me know if you think I got that wrong.
The other way is by the general notability route, per WP:GNG, which requires significant coverage in multiple independent and reliable secondary sources. Of the sources cited, the first half a dozen offer only the barest of passing mentions, if even that, and the last half a dozen seem to be scientific papers mostly authored by the article subject herself, which doesn't really help (we need to see what others have said about her, not what she herself has said). As it stands, I didn't see one source that meets the GNG criteria, although again I'm happy to be proven wrong.
There is also the problem of missing referencing, with too much of the content being unsupported.
If you can add better sources and more citations, to address both these points (notability and verifiability), please do so, and you are then welcome to submit the draft for pre-publication review by clicking on the blue 'submit' button. Thanks, -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 12:46, 22 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your message. Although I cannot determine that this person is inherently notable, compared to other entomologists with their own wiki page one can see she contributed at least as much. Morgan-weta (talk) 03:55, 28 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Creating stubs on insects[edit]

Please try to avoid creating stubs on taxa, like you did at Micropathus, even if you intend to expand them later. They are unhelpful to the reader. Thanks, Edward-Woodrow :) [talk] 12:25, 11 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
