Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. For the Election committee, MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 17:03, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
"See"
[edit]Hi, just a note that you don't need to write "See" before every citation. The only thing to do is see them. Also, per WP:OVERLINKING, you shouldn't wikilink common terms. Opencooper (talk) 18:06, 29 May 2016 (UTC)
Great work, but
[edit]Nice work bit I dont understand why you deleted it here? Why not just add it to the poet too? Victuallers (talk) 19:38, 8 June 2016 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for May 11
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
- Martindale-Hubbell
- added links pointing to Carriers, Bond, Associations and Commercial Code

I have undone the last three edits you made to this article for two reasons, First, you added citations using a different style from the established style for the article. Second, the existing citations adequately support the article content. No new information was added. See Wikipedia:Citing sources: "Each article should use one citation method or style throughout. If an article already has citations, preserve consistency by using that method or seek consensus on the talk page before changing it." The general rule is, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Flagging of minor edits
[edit]Hello Motekov, thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. A minor point though (no pun intended): please do not flag edits with any substantial changes as "minor". That flag is usually reserved for "superficial" changes, not for anything substantial like added or removed content, or a change in the text's meaning. You'll find a more detailed - and better - description of minor edits at Help:Minor edit. Best regards. GermanJoe (talk) 20:19, 25 September 2018 (UTC)
- You are still doing this. Please do not flag substantial edits as "minor". Thanks. Ghmyrtle (talk) 07:38, 23 June 2021 (UTC)

Please fill in the |sname=
(search name) argument because even though it works without it today, if the page name is ever moved in the future eg. "John Smith" -> "John Smith (blacksmith") the search will stop working. The |sname=
locks in the correct name. -- GreenC 14:02, 9 April 2019 (UTC)
- Hi, please be sure to include the full name in the
|sname=
field as you neglected to do here and I fixed here. -- GreenC 14:29, 13 April 2019 (UTC)
Hi, I removed the inclusion of the template for two reasons: 1) it did not include a |sname=
(see above). 2) the search results came back with no viable works but this person. If you can not read the documentation for how this template works, and refuse to follow directions, and do not check your work, I would kindly ask you cease using this template. -- GreenC 17:54, 19 April 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Albert Long, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Meadville (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

[edit]Internet Archive author
[edit]Please be careful about using this template. You have often not been doing it right and I have to go back and fix it. Also, it's for linking authors, not book titles. There is a different template for linking books. But you need to understand what you are doing. -- GreenC 16:00, 14 December 2020 (UTC)
- @GreenC: I have no idea why Motekov is adding these irrelevant books to articles. I just reverted this addition of a book to Baker McKenzie, where the book did not even mention "Baker McKenzie". Magnolia677 (talk) 11:46, 15 December 2020 (UTC)
- Motekov, could you please explain this edit? Magnolia677 (talk) 11:50, 15 December 2020 (UTC)
- @Magnolia677: I think in this case they are referring to Ch. Ukraine Law Digest authored by Chadbourne & Parke the topic of the article. It would be good if they could link to the chapter page number (".../page/n2201") in the URL so it's clear what is being linked and why. One problem with this link is that the book is not available to be borrowed or browsed, except for those with a disability, which is a small audience. A 2-page spread preview is available to everyone, but that is useless for this book since it is linking the entire chapter and not, say, a single fact or quote on a single page. Internet Archive has different levels of viewing permission and this book is one of the higher levels of restriction. As I said above, if you are going to link to Internet Archive you need to understand what you are doing so as not to cause useless links. -- GreenC 15:31, 15 December 2020 (UTC)
- @GreenC: Thanks for the info. I'm struggling to see the value to Wikipedia's readers, per WP:EL, from all these external links. Magnolia677 (talk) 16:29, 15 December 2020 (UTC)
- It's unclear Motekov is making good judgements about adding external links to Internet Archive. It has been hit or miss. They also don't respond to talk discussions. -- GreenC 16:46, 15 December 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Kj cheetham (talk) 16:47, 25 October 2021 (UTC)

Creation of species-level articles
[edit]Hello ! I noticed you were creating stub-grade species articles about Eleniceras. The general policy of the wikiproject is currently that species-level articles should be avoided when there isn't enough material to make it more than a stub-class or start-class article. Maybe try merging those articles with Eleniceras, in a species section ? One big genus article with a lot of information is always better than a lot of species article with three lines of information, generally. Hope that helps ! Larrayal (talk) 14:15, 19 June 2023 (UTC)
