A tag has been placed on your user page, User:MotoMonstercom, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be blatant advertising which only promotes or publicises a company, product, group or service, and which is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages; user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you can indicate why the page is not blatant advertising, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: Click here to contest this speedy deletion which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy deletion candidate). Doing so will take you to your user talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also edit this page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would help make it encyclopedic. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. BoxOfChickens (talk · contribs · CSD/ProD log) 22:17, 26 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion[edit]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... (Hello, This page is not promotional as it has adhered to the Wikipedia guidelines. Our copy righting team has also followed the guidelines of an already existing wikipedia page within the same industry to make sure that this page is compliant based on those guidelines. ) --MotoMonstercom (talk) 22:25, 26 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Contested deletion[edit]

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... (Here is a link to the page that shares the same formatting and guidelines as the MotoMonster page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motorcycle_Superstore) --MotoMonstercom (talk) 22:27, 26 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, MotoMonstercom. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your circle, your organization, its competitors, projects or products;
  • instead propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please familiarize yourself with relevant policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. BoxOfChickens (talk · contribs · CSD/ProD log) 22:33, 26 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing, because this account has been used only for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to Wikipedia's content policy. Also, your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group, which is against Wikipedia's policy: an account is for an individual, not a group. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, not a free advertising service.

If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of this page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. —Cryptic 22:36, 26 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Hello, We are trying to comply with all of your requests and make sure that we are writing an article that fits within the guidelines of wikipedia. We have cited other pages that have followed the same format and have been approved. Please let us know what is wrong with this page specifically so that we can rectify this situation. This page is not meant to be promotional in anyway.

Decline reason:

There's no reason to unblock you if you're only here to create a page about a non-notable business. Wikipedia is not free web-hosting. OhNoitsJamie Talk 22:44, 26 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

What is wrong is that you have an obvious conflict of interest because you are creating a page about your own organization, which may also not meet Wikipedia's notability guideline. BoxOfChickens (talk · contribs · CSD/ProD log) 22:42, 26 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Our only purpose here is not to create a page about a non-notable business. We have cited articles proving our notability, traffic, awards, and recognitions as specified by the Wikipedia guidlines. You can also reference this page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motorcycle_Superstore which is no more or less notable than MotoMonster yet this is an approved page. We are more than willing to make any changes to this page in order for it to be approved. This page is only meant to be informative and not promotional, advertising, or self serving. Can you please offer some suggestions to make this page acceptable for your approval. MotoMonstercom (talk) 11:54 pm, 26 January 2016, last Tuesday (2 days ago) (UTC+1)

Decline reason:

Your username is a problem. You should make another unblock request using the {{unblock-spamun}} template, as explained above in the blocking notice. You have to propose new username for yourself while requesting to be unblocked. But, you will not be unblocked unless you agree not to post articles about your company (whether written by you or somebody else). WP:COI editing is not allowed even if you try to be "unbiased". Precisely the same as the last time you tried this. —Cryptic 22:56, 26 January 2016 (UTC) Yes this page has been attempted to be created before. However you pointed out flaws with that page that have now been rectified. The page now has notable references to google, service awards that have been received, rankings, social media and more as requested by you. This page has directly followed the Motorcycle_Superstore template to make sure that MotoMonster is just as compliant as that page. The whole page has also been re written by professional copy writers so that it is not promotional, advertisement, or self serving. These where the requirements you asked that we meet and that has been done. If this page is still not up to the standards you would like meet would you be willing to create the page for us?[reply]

Still a WP:COI. BoxOfChickens (talk · contribs · CSD/ProD log) 23:21, 26 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

[[User talk:BoxOfChickens| this page was written by a professional copy writing team not by MotoMonster or any of its staff. I see that an article can not be written by a member of the organization that the article is about according to WP:COI which this page was not. However the page was posted by us. So does this mean that the only reason this page is not compliant is because it needs to be posted by another entity like yourself?]]

  • Please, answer those questions. Are you the same person as Bvojcek? Are you aware that Wikipedia does not allow creating multiple user accounts unless their connection is clearly declared? Also, you keep saying "we". Are you aware that Wikipedia does not allow shared accounts? Only individuals are allowed to register, not groups. You are obviously privately connected to the company "MotoMonster", which means that you have a WP:Conflict of interest. Are you aware that, if we unblock you and even you change your username, you will not be able to write about the company with which you have WP:COI? The difference between your article and other articles you mentioned is that those other articles were not written by people employed by articles' subjects. So, if we unblock you, what articles do you intend to edit? Vanjagenije (talk) 23:35, 26 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello (talk) I am not the same user as Bvojcek. However I do work for MotoMonster.com. When I say we I mean on behalf of MotoMonster. I personally made this account and I am an individual. No one else at MotoMonster has the ability to access this account. I am not trying to hide anything and I sure am not trying to make anyones job more difficult. The page was created by an unbiased 3rd party who we asked to write the page about us and model it after the Motorcycle superstore page as well as the input MotoMonster had received from Cryptic. We just received the pages context and I was charged with implementing it on Wikipedia. So from what I can see here we just need the 3rd party who created the content to post it? To answer your question I would also like to help edit articles and add content to articles related to the powersport industry as well as articles that relate to motocross, motorcycles, and motorcycle racing.

So you created the account and gave the username and password to someone else? It's hard to understand what you are saying. It still appears that you this is a conflict of interest because you asked a third party to write an article about you. BoxOfChickens (talk · contribs · CSD/ProD log) 00:15, 27 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

talk Sorry I am not trying to make this confusing. I just created the MotoMonstercom account and I work for MotoMonster.com. The BVojcek account was created by another employee here a while back. Unfortunately no one here has or knows what the login credentials for that account are. I guess that's a good thing as a group can not have a Wiki page according to the notes above. I created my own account on my own accord. We did have a saved email with all of the correspondents regarding the previous page that a MotoMonster employee wrote that did not comply with Wikipedia. This is why the new page I just uploaded followed all of the previous suggestions and guidelines with all new content by an unbiased 3rd party that is not promotional and should be Wikipedia compliant was created. This is what we were told in the email we received when the original page was created. Now that all of the previous points have been meet we where supposed to be able to just upload this new page without any issues. Yes we did ask for the article to be written but like I said in an unbiased manner non promotional manner as outlined before. Just as some was asked wright the Motorcycle Superstore article. The difference is I am sure the Motorcycle superstore article was not asked to be written in a none bias view from a 3rd party as the MotoMonster article was. Now that we are hopefully all on the same page can this page please be published or does the original content writer need to upload the page?— Preceding unsigned comment added by MotoMonstercom (talkcontribs) 00:41, 27 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
