A belated welcome![edit]

The welcome may be belated, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, MrShortCircuit! I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may still benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

If you don't already know, you should sign your posts on talk pages by using four tildes (~~~~) to insert your username and the date.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Again, welcome! Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 16:00, 1 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Communication[edit]

You should also be aware that Wikipedia is a collaborative project an communication between editors is expected. The normal editing cycle is "Bold, Revert, Discuss". That is, a bold change can then be reverted but editors are generally expected to be able to discuss any disagreements resulting from those changes. The Help:Talk pages and Talk Page Guidelines are very helpful for this. Finally you should know that deleting messages from your user talk page is allowed but removed messages are assumed to have been read: Policy does not prohibit users, whether registered or unregistered, from removing comments from their own talk pages, although archiving is preferred. If a user removes material from their user page, it is normally taken to mean that the user has read and is aware of its contents. I hope that helps and please do not hesitate to ask me any questions about editing here that you may have. Again, welcome. Eggishorn (talk) (contrib) 16:14, 1 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
