Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. I agree that, if we can source the result, then we should include them as the team don't play many full internationals. I've had a quick look but I can't find a source for the results. Where did you hear the results? Would we be able to use that as the source? If we can't verify the result of the games then anyone could challenge them and we wouldn't be able to point to a source, it would just be word of mouth. July 2021[edit]

Hi there - Wikipedia relies on reliable sources to verify information, especially about living people. You didn't provide a source for your changes to the Kiernan Hughes-Mason article, and I couldn't find one either. If you have a reliable source please let me know and we can change the article. Please let me know if you have any questions. GiantSnowman 09:13, 21 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry mate, editor's note cut off before I was finished - I used Capital Football's season reviews, located here: https://f24de899-d621-432d-a2ba-a130388d3a25.filesusr.com/ugd/1842db_086ef9d12cd441af8a1d83eb80b3f7a7.pdf https://f24de899-d621-432d-a2ba-a130388d3a25.filesusr.com/ugd/1842db_06019dc6dd1b436bbc33ce0d710dcfce.pdf

Jesse Randall moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Jesse Randall, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) WP:NFOOTY is no longer a valid SNG, so GNG must be met. It needs several refs from independent, reliable, secondary sources to pass WP:GNG. It should have at least 3 of those. Please remember that routine sports coverage does not satisfy GNG, and that interviews, being primary sources, do not go to notability either. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Invitation to an in-person meetup in Mohua / Golden Bay[edit]

Golden Bay Air are holding some seats for us until 21 November

Thinking about your summer break? Think about joining other Wikipedians and Wikimedians in Golden Bay / Mohua! Details are on the meetup page. There's heaps of interesting stuff to work on e.g. the oldest extant waka or New Zealand's oldest ongoing legal case. Or you may spend your time taking photos and then upload them.

Golden Bay is hard to get to and the airline flying into Tākaka uses small planes, so we are holding some seats from and to Wellington and we are offering attendees a $200 travel subsidy to help with costs.

Be in touch with Schwede66 if this event interests you and you'd like to discuss logistics. Schwede66 09:14, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
