In consideration of your vandalism from this account and from 71.107.122.180 (talk · contribs),

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Ragib 01:07, 13 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I was unaware of proper use. Neither did I know it was your personals. I certainly apologise in trying to correct someone else's work regardless how misinformed or opinionised it might be. I just wanted to be upfront and clear about this. It shall not happen again.

May 2016[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm RegentsPark. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Mughal Empire, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. regentspark (comment) 18:00, 20 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia and copyright[edit]

Control copyright icon Hello Muraad Kahn, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to Chabahar Port have been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college-level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • Our primary policy on using copyrighted content is Wikipedia:Copyrights. You may also want to review Wikipedia:Copy-paste.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. However, there are steps that must be taken to verify that license before you do. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Kautilya3 (talk) 10:47, 24 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for May 5[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Bangladesh Air Force, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page BDF (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:19, 5 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

June 2018[edit]

Information icon Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Bengal cat. Your edits could be interpreted as vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you.

In particular, it is neither permissible to edit-war to change country names in an attempt to "claim credit" for something (and with no sources, and in SCREAMING ALL-CAPS), nor to attempt to hide such PoV-pushing changes with misleading edit summaries like "Fixed typo". That's all blatantly disruptive. See in particular, WP:Do not disrupt Wikipedia to make a point. Diff.  — SMcCandlish ¢ 😼  05:35, 6 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

This message contains important information about an administrative situation on Wikipedia. It does not imply any misconduct regarding your own contributions to date.

Please carefully read this information:

The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.

Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you that sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

Attempting to hide any involvement of anyone in India in early Bangladeshi affairs by deleting already-sourced material [1] – and again with a bald-faced lie of an edit summary – is very likely to get you topic-banned. I've seen half-a-dozen edits like this from you just in the last few days.  — SMcCandlish ¢ 😼  05:49, 6 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Unconstructive editing[edit]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Dhaka-15, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Information icon Hello, I'm Schazjmd. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Ken Shimura, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Schazjmd (talk) 20:38, 4 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

You are making the same edits to Ken Shimura just made by an IP editor, which implies you might also be the IP editor. Stop adding unsourced (and poorly written) content to the article. Schazjmd (talk) 20:41, 4 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
