You edited[1] into Gray's article his being named to All state teams baseball, basketball, and football teams. I removed it. The only source for this was a Palm Beach Post obituary. Obituaries fail WP:RS. Obituaries are submitted by family members and are not fact checked so they can say anything. Like that a baseball player was the overall #1 pick in 1963[2]. Unfortunately as both you and I know, there was no baseball draft in 1963....William 03:12, 25 February 2015 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Gordon Houston, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Major League. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Orphaned non-free image File:Charles Starrett.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Charles Starrett.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Proposed deletion of Chris Hernandez (baseball)

The article Chris Hernandez (baseball) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable minor league baseball player. Fails WP:GNG, fails WP:BASE/N.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. – Muboshgu (talk) 15:25, 15 April 2015 (UTC)

Man, it is always a pleasure to hear from you. I have been photographing and documenting historical places in Arizona. Many of my pictures have been published in the Arizona Republic and I have used some to create articles such as "List of historic properties in Phoenix", "Phoenix Historic Property Register" and etc. You take care. Non-free rationale for File:Wally Schang.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Wally Schang.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 19:07, 25 October 2015 (UTC)

Alphabetizing categories

Any reason why you don't also alphabetize the "Living people" category?--Yankees10 17:34, 21 November 2015 (UTC)

What do you think about this? MusiCitizen (talk) 23:16, 21 November 2015 (UTC)
I think Living people should also be alphabetized.--Yankees10 17:50, 22 November 2015 (UTC)
Also I don't think you should merge the external links like you did here for example:[3]. Those links aren't part of the baseballstats template.--Yankees10 18:05, 22 November 2015 (UTC)
According to Wikipedia, the order in which categories are placed on a page is not governed by any single rule (for example, it does not need to be alphabetical, although partially alphabetical ordering can sometimes be helpful). Wikipedia added that normally the most essential, significant categories appear first. At this point, I think the year of birth is a priority and the next category should indicate whether the person is alive, dead or missing. As for your second comment, I have no objection to your suggestion. MusiCitizen (talk) 21:40, 23 November 2015 (UTC)
