Hi. When you recently edited 1946 All-American Girls Professional Baseball League season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Double header (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Vern Bickford No-hitter

You created his article and in it you have a unreferenced quote "the prettiest curveball I ever threw". Before the quote, you wrote that Duke Snider struck out to end the game. The only trouble is- Snider hit[1] into a game ending double play and a google news archive search comes up with nothing for the above quote.- William 15:36, 30 January 2012 (UTC)

I have removed text you added to José Gregorio Hernández‎ and Isnotú, Trujillo, Venezuela, which contained copyvio (both direct cut-and-pasted text, and text that was translated directly, which is also plagiarism) and that was also based on non-reliable sources. Non-free files missing a rationale

Hi. According to Wikipedia:Database reports/Non-free files missing a rationale you have a number of files missing a rationale template. Perhaps you could have a look? It should be easy to find the files if you sort by uploader. --MGA73 (talk) 10:46, 26 May 2012 (UTC)

Non-free rationale for File:Monte Pearson.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Monte Pearson.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Inappropriate use of nonfree images

Please stop reinserting nonfree files with grossly deficient NFCC rationales into articles. A photograph of the championship team plainly does not satisfy the requirements of WP:NFCC#8, and a rationale which lists the purpose as simply to "illustrate" is plainly insufficient, as that would justify the use of any nonfree image in any relevant article. Note, for example, that similar nonfree images are not used in the pages in Category:Major League Baseball seasons. Hullaballoo Wolfowitz (talk) 13:59, 18 July 2012 (UTC)

It is always great to see a "Hola" from a good friend. You know you and I have been in Wikipedia for a very long time (2004), I think we a deserve a Medal for tolerence. You take care. Tony the Marine (talk) 03:44, 2 August 2012 (UTC)

Hi. When you recently edited 2012 in baseball, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Michael Weiner (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Replaceable fair use File:Les Cain.gif

Thanks for uploading File:Les Cain.gif. I noticed the description page specifies that this media item is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails the first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media item could be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media item is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the file discussion page, write the reason why this media item is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. VernoWhitney (talk) 20:50, 7 October 2012 (UTC)

Feliz Navidad

<font=3> Wishing you a
"Feliz Navidad and a Prospero Año Nuevo"

Ed Stevens

Merry Christmas. I saw you edited the Stevens article after he passed away. There are a couple things that I think need pointing out.

1- Newspaper obituaries are not a WP:RS. You only used it to note Stevens passing away but I still replaced it with a link to a lengthier NY Times article.

2- Baseball Reference bullpen is like wikipedia, anyone can edit it. Therefore it would fail WP:RS. So I replaced these references with another source in the article and corrected what year Stevens was still scouting till.

Just letting you know....William 14:13, 24 December 2012 (UTC)
