Your article Draft:Abokor Muuse

[edit]

Information icon Welcome, and thank you for contributing the page Draft:Abokor Muuse to Wikipedia. While you have added the page to the English version of Wikipedia, the article is not in English. We invite you to translate it into English. Pages in foreign languages will not be kept here, and may be deleted if they are not translated into English. Thank you. First and foremost, I am requesting that Wikipedia follow its policy and publish this article in Somali because this tribe is Somali. If any foreigners wish to view it, however, they may do so in any language in the world. In addition, I am grateful to wikipedia holders for their support in enabling me to demonstrate how the abokor muuse clan was concealed by some individuals of his ethnicity. Hello, I'm Thriftycat. I noticed that in this edit to Garhajis, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Thriftycat TalkContribs 00:17, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did at Garhajis, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. Thriftycat TalkContribs 20:31, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Hello Muuse8! I agree with UrielAcosta below. Please do not change information that is already sourced and cite external sources for any new information you add (please do not cite Wikipedia articles: see Wikipedia:Wikipedia is not a reliable source). In addition, please use the edit summary field to explain your edits, especially when you remove information, such as you did here [1][2][3]. The edit summary field looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Tick Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button. If you do not heed these warnings, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. To avoid this, please respond to this message. If you have any questions, please ask them, as I will be happy to help you. Thanks, ☿ Apaugasma (talk ) 19:24, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Do not use Wikipedia as a source

[edit]

Please stop adding citations from Wikipedia itself, which as a user-edited site is not a reliable source (see: WP:CIRCULAR).
And, of course, stop making changes to sourced information. If you don't understand why your edits have been reverted then ask on a talk page, but stop your edit warring. UrielAcosta (talk) 16:25, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for failure to discuss editing and reverts on article talk pages when required..
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

You have now made 400+ edits to Wikipedia, nearly all to articles - and not once have you edited an article talk page. In many cases they have been wholesale removal of content. In some situations, you have been reverted - but then just go back and continue to make the same edits, in effect edit warring.

You must start using the article talk page. Please read WP:BRD and WP:DR and once you have, confirm that you have read and understood your responsibilities around discussion - and commit to following them moving forward. Place the unblock template on your talk page with that commitment and understanding, and you will be unblocked by any uninvolved administrator.

Hello, Muuse8

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Dclemens1971, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, Muuse Ismaciil Qalinle, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to contest the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click the Publish changes button.

If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Dclemens1971}}. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. Thanks!

Deletion discussion about Muuse Ismaciil Qalinle

[edit]

Hello Muuse8, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Muuse Ismaciil Qalinle, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Muuse Ismaciil Qalinle.

Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Dclemens1971}}. And don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!
