Ghostbar Las Vegas[edit]

A tag has been placed on Ghostbar Las Vegas, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Notability of MOON Nightclub[edit]

A tag has been placed on MOON Nightclub requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Spam in Nove Italiano[edit]

{{helpme}} I tried creating pages for these nightclubs and restaurant using only information cited from media sources. I removed adjectives that described the spaces in a positive light (words such as "amazing" and "spectacular") so the descriptions would be completely factual - such as the square footage, number of bars, color scheme, etc. Why is this still considered advertising? Please refer to the page for The Playboy Club (Las Vegas). I added some information to that page, citing the same source I tried to create these other pages, and that hasn't been flagged.

Based on your user name it seems that you probably have a conflict of interest. Without seeing the articles it is hard to tell for sure but admins usually only delete blatant advertising. The article should concentrate on the notability of the subject not on the layout and other details about the space. Try writing an article on one of them here: User:N9NE Group/sandbox and asking for an editor to review it on the WP:Help desk. Please also read WP:FAQ/Business. OK I can create a new username and I am sorry I've had such trouble creating new articles. The advice on creating articles in a sandbox and then submitting for approval was very helpful, and had someone advised me on that earlier I would have done it so I wouldn't have violated the rules so many times. I also wasn't aware that just listing factual information in an article is not wikipedia's goal, and now understand articles are meant to be on NOTABLE subjects.

It looks like most of your edits so far have been related to your own business. Under the conflict of interest guidelines, we all agree not to write about ourselves or our businesses. Now that you know that you won't be writing about your business at all, do you still want an account? COI guidelines don't prohibit editing such articles.. They just warn about the possible issues that might come up. This guy also doesn't have to justify what other edits he may or may not make. We don't say "oh, I don't think you'll be very helpful, so we'll just keep you blocked". That's not for us to decide. Wikipedia also isn't for advertising, however, and there isn't much point in unblocking someone who's just going to be reblocked a short time later for violating policy. Making a check like this saves everyone a lot of time and frustration in the long run, just in case it is the only reason they're here - which has happened plenty of times before. As I said, I now understand that listing facts does not qualify as warranting a wikipedia page. I read the guidelines on notability and I get it. And though I can't give you a list of all the articles I plan on contributing to, I think it's harsh to block me INDEFINITELY. I cleared my cache, logged out and logged back in but it's still not working. When I try to follow that link, it pops up that I am blocked indefinitely, but below that there is a stamp that says the block is set to expire at _____ and it's always the current time.
