Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, NBourdeau, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Information icon Hello, I'm Hey man im josh. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Gert Katter—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Hey Josh, thanks! I created this page and would like to correct the name of the person under discussion. I will do so and provide sources soon. NBourdeau (talk) 16:29, 28 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • We need a reliable source before you correct the error-- perhaps create a post on the article's talk page detailing why the subject's name should be corrected? This would also involve moving the page to a new location, which I am glad to assist you with provided you can provide verifiable proof that the subject's name is indeed spelled in this manner. Thanks! Tarheel95 (Talk) 17:07, 2 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
    • Nevermind, I've taken the liberty of verifying this myself. You are correct, the subject's name does appear to be spelled Gerd instead of Gert. I will correct and move the page. My apologies for the earlier reversions. Tarheel95 (Talk) 17:11, 2 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
