Louisville, Colorado POV concerns

NE2, a few months ago you indicated some POV concerns about Louisville, Colorado. I began a discussion about them on the talk page a couple of weeks later. Another editor, User:Brainerror138 had some concrete suggestions for repair, and yet another user, Aetheling (talk), has attempted to fix all of these problems. To date, no one else has evaluated the article, or commented one way or the other. Brainerror seems no longer to be contributing. Could you please revisit the article and, if you think the issue has been resolved, remove the NPOV flag?

Image:E-470.svg

I recently uploaded the shield for E-470 at the Commons; an svg image using Inkscape as you told me some time ago. Something is wrong with it as you can see. Why is it that on Inkscape, the numbers are okay, but when the image is uploaded, it appears as a blank white rectangle instead? If you know how, can you tell me how to fix that on Inkscape, or do it by yourself if you prefer it that way? ^_^ AL2TB ^_^ 05:54, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

Oh, thanks for saying the SVG was good. For the SVG, the only thing I really need to work on is making the typeface bold, as it normally appears on all E-470 shields. Ah, Thanks for clarifying. I think the reason that nobody commented on the deletion review so far is probably because the nomination statement was rather vague and probably there were other people who have interpreted your statement the way I did. I would probably still recommend a renom under the current date just to make sure that other people understand what your trying to say in a full 5-day period. Actually it occurred to me that I don't think you even need to run those images through DRV if your goal is to recreate rather than undelete, as it is probably just faster and easier that way. If you can address the issues to why the images were deleted in the first place I don't think it is necessary, unless you really think having the deleted history is helpful. Oh and another thing. I also got a decent picture of downtown Sacramento taken from the U.S. Route 50 in California/Interstate 305 (California) bridge over Interstate 5 and the American River. If you are interested, I' will upload to commons. I also noted that at the CA88/89 junction, the control cities are listed as Woodfords/Marlkeville to the west and Kirkwood/Jackson to the east. the CA49/US50 junction in Placerville lists Columa and Gold Run. Dubai: Is it a road or a highway?

You added {{HWY}} to several articles about roadways in Dubai. I removed them on the basis that "the road is not a highway and does not fall under WikiProject Highways." Then, you reverted that change by saying "This is a highway." I will agree that D 75 is a highway (although only part of it can be considered a highway). But, for D 85 and D 92 I still disagree with you. They are just normal arterial streets and are not considered highways. I think {{HWY}} should be removed from their respective talk pages. But, before we begin an edit war, we should discuss the issue. I would be interested to know your reasoning for calling D 85 and D 92 highways. I made a mistake. I thought that WikiProject Highways was only about highways, and not roads. After your message on my talk page, I decided to go to the project page to see what the scope of the project is. I read that the project is "about highways, including freeways, expressways, throughways, and other major forms of road." Now I have no argument against using {{HWY}} on the articles I mentioned. There are a number of things going on here, pertaining to a content dispute relating to manual of style problems. Opening dates for Staten Island Railway stations

Hey NE2, number1 here. Listen, now that work on the SIR stations is about to commence, one thing that we're missing which is really important is opening dates. I'm actually surprised that the NYC Subway Resource Site doesn't list the opening dates for the SIR stations. The only station that has a known opening date is the RCB Ballpark station, which opened in 2001, but will need the others. This will be much appreciated. Nah, the paramaters and their usage is clear. Basically you tagged some Michigan articles, my guess would be because they use directional banners and scaps template. You can say that an image can be made, but if they're not being made, and are not available, then they should be kept until a replacement is available. The link you gave me to those old maps back in January 2008 are great, and I appreciate them, but they don't have everything. They don't have the proposed Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway extension to Wantagh Parkway, or the Wantagh Parkway extension to the Long Island Expressway, or the Bethpage State Parkway extension to Northern State Parkway, including it's interchange with the L.I.E. or the former intechanges on the LIE with Glen Cove Road(full-cloverleaf), NY 25(same-direction exits), NY 107(without the south-to-west ramp) NY 110(full-cloverleaf) Sagtikos State Parkway(full cloverleaf without collective-distributor roads) or Wick's Road(diamond interchange with westbound ramps leading to Long Island Motor Parkway on both sides). The images that I've uploaded in the past do have them, and that's why those should've been kept, and the same goes for this one. Thanks so much! I've mostly just been going off the PDF files from the renumbering at WSDOT. (I found the actual links too just a day or two ago, just hadn't gotten around to fixing that yet. Which reminds me, thanks for your help with the links on the page, too. It's going to be an ongoing project -- taking a lot longer than I thought.) The PDF files are enough for making the table, but this will go a long way towards expanding the text. At some point I want to write an actual History of state highways in Washington, and it will be good to have this as an actual source.
