FYI: I kicked File:Phi Kappa Psi flag.png to commons. It's totally PD-ineligible. [1].--GrapedApe (talk) 16:55, 2 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds reasonable. NYCRuss 17:08, 2 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

NY Giants[edit]

If you look at the pages for teams like the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins, all stadium name changes are listed. This includes the Giants. Richiekim (talk) 21:31, 8 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

In the case of the Dolphins, the stadium is listed once, and then a list of names is provided to make it clear that it is one stadium. That should be done for clarity. NYCRuss 21:34, 8 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Talk page[edit]

And you are invited to help, also! That would be useful for us all. --WhiteWriter speaks 23:30, 8 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Nope[edit]

Not a mistake. :) Removing a link is OK in some circumstances. That's a generalized type term that I don't think requires linking. And I don't see an article on sweeps in sports anytime soon. --User:Woohookitty Disamming fool! 05:22, 10 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You made an edit to New York, New York (disambiguation) referencing the talk page, but it has been 17 minutes and you didn't edit the talk page. Georgia guy (talk) 20:31, 7 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Update. I just noticed the edit you made. Georgia guy (talk) 20:32, 7 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for March 16[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Old Pulteney Distillery, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Highland and Housing (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Distillery coordinates[edit]

I see that you've been adding and modifying geographic coordinates for several Scottish distilleries. Useful work, but there are a couple of problems: The "type", "scale", and "dim" parameters in the {{coord}} template all set a scale for the map display; only one of these should be used, not all three (especially when conflicting values are given for scale and dim). Also, you've been using "GB-DGY" as the region code for all the distilleries; that is the code for the Dumfries and Galloway council area, but none of the distilleries in question were actually in that area. A table listing the GB region subcodes can be found at ISO 3166-2:GB. Hope this helps. Deor (talk) 12:41, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Phi Kappa Psi pledge pin.png)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Phi Kappa Psi pledge pin.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:14, 26 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Phi Kappa Psi logo.png[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Phi Kappa Psi logo.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. GrapedApe (talk) 12:14, 1 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

User:Georockgal/Delta Psi Delta (Canada), a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:Georockgal/Delta Psi Delta (Canada) and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:Georockgal/Delta Psi Delta (Canada) during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
