Your GA nomination of Rhee Taekwon-Do

Hello, I just wanted to introduce myself and let you know I am glad to be reviewing the article Rhee Taekwon-Do you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 3 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. VanTucky (talk) 23:26, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for your timely counterpoint to the FAC discussion. I can't help but think it was the clincher for the promotion.Peter Rehse 04:28, 31 August 2007 (UTC)

Moo Duk Kwan Article

Good afternoon,

I just wanted to clear up any confusion regarding the potential of "copy and paste" within the Moo Duk Kwan article. Just thought I'd let you know that all of my facts came from either the History of the Moo Duk Kwan by Hwang Kee or Instructor Certification Study Guides provided by the U.S. Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation, Inc.

Also, I'm really not sure what "TW" is.

Thanks for understanding.

Jujutsu

My thought is, unless someone supplies the IPA pronunciation using proper IPA symbols, there is no need for a pronunciation lesson, especially an informal one. Further, I am aware of no justification for ever pronouncing じゅう (jū) as "jyoo". It is also incorrect to provide "jits" as the pronunciation of 術. 術 may properly be pronounced either as じゅつ (jutsu) or じつ (jitsu), so choosing to indicate one pronunciation over the other is improper. The "u" on the end is (sometimes) devoiced as informally indicated with the use of "jits", but I still don't see how this is helpful - if someone wants to learn about pronunciation nuances of Japanese, there is a very thorough article at Japanese language. Kendo Spam

Hi - I was wondering why you thought Kendo - The Japan Guide was spam? It seems an interesting article. jmcw 10:01, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

OK - the guy was clearly adding links all over the place but the ezine behind it seemed ok - maybe if he had added it to the kendo article ... jmcw 11:54, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

Why did you remove jujitsu america link?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danzan_Ryu I placed a link for one of the biggest organizations in the United States for Danzan-ryu jujitsu, why did you remove it?

Looks like you have a history of good posts on wikipedia, am checking into reporting you now. User5802 21:22, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

Nate1481 you removed my external link to one of the biggest Danzan-ryu Jujitsu organizations in the US, but you don't seem to have a problem with there being a link to http://www.kodokan.org/ on the judo article. What is the deal? User5802 22:44, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

I'll answer, since he doesn't seem to be around. You added a link, on a page about a person, to a page that as far as I can tell doesn't mention the person's name anywhere. Whereas the other link is to a page about the person, and he methods, etc. Unlike your link, it is directly related to the subject of the article, whereas your link is to a page that is only slightly related. Please see WP:EL Gscshoyru 22:54, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

This issue was resolved an the external link www.jujitsuamerica.org was decided to be allowed on the article for Danzan-ryu Jujitsu User5802 19:42, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

Spelling

That was classic -- I corrected one spelling error and missed another within the same word. :) Omnedon 13:50, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

Cross posting

I was unaware that my behaviour might be deemed agressive or that their were rules about such things. I feel strongly about this issue and was trying to raise awareness amoungst people who had previously editied the page. simonthebold 08:49, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

Your opinion requested at Masaaki Hatsumi article

see the discussion about "What is the value of a huge list of 'senior' students?" at Talk:Masaaki_Hatsumi, I think it's ridiculous to have all of these people listed in an article about the man Masaaki Hatsumi User5802 18:01, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

Good job on cleaning that up User5802 14:36, 14 September 2007 (UTC)

Regarding Krav Maga and spam

Thank you for your recent edit of the Krav Maga article.

Please take a moment and review the following PDF scans from the founder to Darren Levine. We are uncertain how to properly add these to the existing article without sounding like self promotion.

http://www.kravmaga.com/certificates.asp

Krav Maga Worldwide is the governing body in the United States as granted and documented by the founder and IKMA

Thank you for your guidence. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kmwwinc (talkcontribs) 19:03, 13 September 2007 (UTC)

Banning User 212.85.12.42

I left a message on User 212.85.12.42's talk page to ask them about the silly edit they left on Shia LaBeouf's article about him dating a student from London that no-one has ever heard of (which I assume is her/him and their imagination speaking) and noticed you warned her/him some time ago about vandalising wikipedia articles. Since youre warning, several other users have left messages regarding her/his edits and I thought I would make you aware of the continued vandal and nonsense editing.

Your opinion requested on Danzan-ryu article

Would you think it appropriate to elaborate on a technique within this list? I wrote a short blurb on how "Isami Tsuki Nage" differs from school to school, and an anonymous user has continuously disagreed that it belongs there. Perhaps I'm wrong -- thx User5802 17:10, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

GoSho Ha Hyoho Niten Ichi Ryu

Mr Nate1481

I removed the tag for sources from the Gosho Ha Hyoho Niten Ichi Ryu because since it has been placed many references have been added.

I just saw that you have put it back. I'd like to know your why. I think there are already enough cittations in the article.

What do you think?

Regards, --NitenBr 19:20, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Hello
Thanks, I'll check the articles you mentioned.
