extra links (for lists)

Hi Nate - I know that one normally shouldn't link every occurrence of a word, but I added the extra links in that case because the lists read better when every item is highlighted in the link colour. (I just made up a new Wikipedia 'rule'!) --David Broadfoot 15:01, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

Removal of Iai(do/jutsu) clubs

Hi,

I spent a reasonable amount of time and effort cleaning up the Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu external links section and organizing the clubs by country so that people interested in learning Iaido could find a club. I noticed on checking back that you had not reversed my changes but instead deleted the entire section containing all the club links that had previously been in the 'External links' section.

I have reversed your removal of my work and moved the links back under the 'External links' section which is where they originally came from before I cleaned them up and mistakenly put them under their own heading. The club list is quite large however so I will make a collapsing table of it so it's not so intrusive.

I don't understand why you keep taking out the BJJ directories. Please advise. Or is it that this an american Wikipedia? bjj.eu.com is not an advert. What a totally peculiar sentiment. It's constant censorship is completely at odds to the Wikipedia spirit of dissemination of information. BJJ.eu.com is the only BJJ directory source in Europe. You have edited it out as a schools directory and as a source for BJJ information. This is a most peculiar censor... it needs to be clarified and of course if once understood your censorship will be accepted. Hi GrapplingArts. Firstly, bjj.eu.com is not the only BJJ directory on Wikipedia servicing Europe. Also, your directory is just a forum, not a real directory, and includes discusison posts. Also, your link did not even point to the directory forum, but to a general list of forums. Other bjj.eu.com links have been deleted for other reasons, including quality. For example, the link you added for "upcoming events" only listed events that has already passed. No it's not an "american Wikipedia". Directories already included cover BJJ schools worldwide. I believe that Nate is trying to further rationalise the list of directories - you can join the discussion on the BJJ talk page. --David Broadfoot 14:14, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

Monkey Kung Fu edit identified as vandalism

I just posted a short stub on the temp page to replace the original stub that has copyright issues. How do I request that an admin review the situation and make the swap? I appreciate your help with this article. p.s. I also had some trouble coding the last reference so it was a second reference to ref#2 -- For the moment, I've listed the whole ref out again so that the sentence is properly sourced, but if you could help me with what I'm sure is some foolish sytax problem, I'd be grateful. Usually, when I see a spam link added, I go to the user's contributions page and reverse out all their other spam links at the same time, but there are so many with this perosn spending the last 1.5 hours adding off-topic links to some book for sale. --David Broadfoot 10:04, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

Hi. I have noticed that you tagged the The O2#The O2 arena with {{db-spam}} a while back. I am planning to rewrite the section of the article. Although im pretty sure of which bits are blatantly not written from a WP:NPOV, I would like a few other opinions to ensure that it can be rewritten from a neutral point of view. Thanks for the quick response and its nice to see another MMA, BJJ interest out there. Anyways the comment "but Wikipedia is not here to promote any sport just to report it exists and describe it." Wikipedia is here to report something exists or you wouldn't need to have a wikipedia page if noone wanted to learn more about it. Just saying that I dont understand why americantraceurs.com would be removed. do a Control F on the page and American Traceurs comes up quite a bit. Look up Australian Parkour on the page and nothing. I'm not saying remove Australian Parkour, but no need to delete something that is relevant to the article. Also, I'm not promoting American Traceurs to gain a profit. They have nothing for sale, just an informative site for Parkour Traceurs. Hope you understand my view. Best Regards. Thank you for your response. I understand that notability is not inherited. Please understand that Shingitai Jujitsu is not a club, but a philosophy of jujitsu application and training. The sample of clubs that utilize this philosophy is evidence of the notablity. Perhaps the article listed in the weblink at the University of Tennessee's website would be a better submission to wiki to describe the notablilty of this form of jujitsu in detail. Hi again and sorry to keep bothering you like this. I have noticed that you removed the music events listing from the article, The O2. I will try to rewrite the section to include just notable events but I just thought I'd point you to the folowing articles of venues from around the world, some of which include comprehensive lists of all performers - Manchester Evening News Arena, Sheffield Arena, Wembley Arena, Staples Center, Earls Court Exhibition Centre.
