Jan-6.com[edit]

Hi Nationals01. I couldn't help noticing that almost all your edits have involved adding references to pages on jan-6.com. As such, I was wondering if you could clarify a couple of points for me. First, are you involved in some way in running that website? If so, you should read Wikipedia's guidelines on conflicts of interest, and in particular the section on citing yourself. While editors are free to add citations to their own work, it's preferable to begin a discussion at the article talk page first to gauge other editors' views, especially if multiple citations are added. Second, it's not clear to me that jan-6.com satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for reliable sources. Do you have a sense of who runs it (professional journalists, campaigners, amateurs), who writes the content, where they get their information from, and so on? Wikipedia articles have to be based on reliable sources, and should primarily cite secondary sources rather than primary sources. All the best, – Arms & Hearts (talk) 19:11, 27 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
