Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Aaraattu (2021 film), you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages IPS and Abu Salim. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 05:59, 15 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Kaduva(movie) moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Kaduva(movie), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. – NJD-DE (talk) 11:27, 17 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Unspecified source/license for File:Kaduva.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Kaduva.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|cc-by-sa-4.0}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 04:00, 22 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. Thank you for uploading File:Mammootty.2021.jpeg. However, it is currently missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation.

This same problem also applies to the following images:

Your image uploads

[edit]

Greetings. I have noticed that you have uploaded the following images of people:

It appears that in all cases these images are taken from various websites on the Internet. As noted in the section above, you've failed to identify a license for these images. In all cases you appear to want to use these under our non-free content policy, but haven't identified an appropriate license. However, in all cases these images are either of living (or recently deceased) people, or in one case is replacing an image of a person whose been dead for some time but for whom we already have a free image. Per WP:NFCC #1, we do not accept copyrighted, non-free images where we can expect to acquire (or have already acquired) a free license alternative. Per Foundation:Resolution:Licensing policy, the use of non-free images of living people is generally not permitted.

Please understand; Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. You can't just take an image from somewhere on the Internet and upload it here without any concern for the copyright protections of the image. We are not a repository for all images on the Internet, regardless of license. I would ask that you please halt your uploads until you've carefully read through Wikipedia:Image use policy, Wikipedia:Non-free content criteria, and Wikipedia:File copyright tags/Free licenses. If you have questions about this, let me know. Thanks, --Hammersoft (talk) 13:19, 22 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • You have marked File:Babu.Namboothiri.jpg as being available under a {{Cc-by-sa-4.0}}. I can not find any evidence anywhere that this image is available under this license. Just adding a license indicating it is free is woefully insufficient. We need proof the image is available under such a license. If you can't provide it, do not state it. Thank you, --Hammersoft (talk) 17:39, 22 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use File:Mammootty.2021.jpeg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Mammootty.2021.jpeg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{Di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 11:49, 23 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppet investigation

[edit]

An editor has opened an investigation into sockpuppetry by you. Sockpuppetry is the use of more than one Wikipedia account in a manner that contravenes community policy. The investigation is being held at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Nediyakala Vasavan, where the editor who opened the investigation has presented their evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to investigations, and then feel free to offer your own evidence or to submit comments that you wish to be considered by the Wikipedia administrator who decides the result of the investigation. If you have been using multiple accounts (in a manner contrary to Wikipedia policy), please go to the investigation page and verify that now. Leniency is usually shown to those who promise not to do so again, or who did so unwittingly, but the abuse of multiple accounts is taken very seriously by the Wikipedia community.

No fan-made posters

[edit]

Do not add fan-made posters in film articles like you did at Aadujeevitham (film) with [1]. The infobox is for adding an "original" poster released by the makers, WP:FILMPOSTER.--The Doom Patrol (talk) 14:01, 24 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
