This article is currently up for deletion. I just thought that you might want to know that as you are trying to translate the article. If I were you I would copy-paste the article to a user sub-page and finish translation. Then when you are done, move the article back to it's location under an english title. Did what those of us who translate routinely do--hid the Persian text by commenting it out. You can still see it when you go to the edit page. Hope to see more of this. I've seen one of his movies and agree he is noteworthy. Fear not; we'll save it! Williamborg (Bill) 03:05, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

Thanks guys for the advice and hiding the Persian text. As you already know, I'm new here and haven't learnt the tricks yet! I was away for 2 weeks and I didn't have the time to finish the translation. I'll start working on it tonight and try to make use of your suggestions. I'll ask for help if I need anything. PS: If I am banned because of starting a biography of a living person (I found out about that in the Wiki's blocking policy), Ebrahim Hatamikia, I just roughly translated the article from its Persian origin which was mentioned in the pages needin English translation. Hope that everything is clear.

That is strange. Does it say anything about "autoblock" in the page? You might also try to email Fred Bauder about this if he issued the block: Special:Emailuser/Fred_Bauder. Hope that helps, Kusma (討論) 12:10, 14 August 2006 (UTC)

It's me again. Apparently it was my first guess, someone else with my IP was meant to be banned. Fred wrote me back saying that it would last for a maximum of 24 hours. The problem is that I am banned again for the same article by another admin, so this one would also take another 24 hours to expire, and them maybe someone else comes along and ban me ... and I don't know how far the story will continue! This is the new message I got:

The autoblock has been taken care of, you should be able to edit now. Autoblocks last for 24 hours, so you're doing the right thing by putting the unblock tag with the blocking information here. -- Natalya 15:53, 23 August 2006 (UTC)

Requesting an article

Hi everyone. I feel frustrated and cannot find how I have to put a request for an article. I'm a yoga fan, but not an expert. There is a lack of any information on "athletic, artistic, rhythmic yoga" on Wiki, and even on the net. Though it's been years since the annual championship events are taking place in different parts of the world, the definition of these branches are almost zero. So can you please help me to put the message in the right place to be noticed? (Of course it can be done by yourself, just give me a short brief or a link on how to do it myself for the future needs!) Thanks a lot. --Nim 16:58, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

Hey there Nim. To request an article you need to go to Requested Articles. Pick a category that the article you want falls under (not sure which one Yoga-related articles should go on!) - then you click edit and you can make your request. Hope this helps.
