Request reason:

I want to appeal for my account, my friend's account(User: Rhdltkdl), and our IP. We are both fans of the game Arknights and want to build a wiki page for the other game in the series, she worked on Korean and I worked on English. I had some issues in real life to handle, so I handed my draft to her and she edited and submitted it again on her account. I'm glad to provide pieces of evidence to show how we are two individuals, so I want to know if I can appeal the ban. I clearly understand Wikipedia doesn't allow users to use multiple accounts, and I'll never violate that, but since we shared the same IP, I think I need some help or maybe advice in this situation to avoid our accounts being banned. Decline reason:

What you are describing is sockpuppetry; see WP:MEAT. Additionally, you have not addressed the concerns around WP:UPE. Yamla (talk) 11:53, 7 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I do understand now that I and my friend need to clarify that we share the same IP on our user pages to avoid accusations of sockpuppetry. But meanwhile, I want to know why and how I am accused of UPE since I don't get paid for what I've done and trying to do. I don't think that there is anything that will conflict with my ability to provide objective perceptions of the draft I tried to submit. All the draft’s content is based on some game media such as Pocketgamer, Gamerant, or ACG website news such as Crunchyroll, and I tried to write in an unbiased tone to give information from these sources. I think these also are the same sources as many unreleased mobile games' wiki pages relied on. NishirikiN (talk) 11:37, 8 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Without addressing the UPE, the sockpuppetry issue is not just that you share an IP; it's still WP:MEAT even if you two were on completely different continents. 331dot (talk) 13:46, 8 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • I feel a little bit confused because if I don't really get paid for editing, how could I address the UPE. I read the part WP:UPE and it says that I need to provide links when I get paid for editing Wikipedia. I volunteered to edit a page and got no idea how I could be blocked for UPE. Also, I'm sorry about the sockpuppetry issue. I don't do that intentionally on purpose to sabotage Wikipedia as I explained at the first unblock request. I want to sincerely apologize and promise that we will not edit again on the same subject with similar edit actions.NishirikiN (talk) 14:21, 8 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on User:NishirikiN/sandbox requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://gamepress.gg/arknights/news/arknights-endfield-concept, https://finalweapon.net/2022/03/17/real-time-3d-rpg-arknights-endfield-revealed/, and https://www.resetera.com/threads/arknights-endfield-announced-3d-rpg-with-strategic-elements-mobile-pc.563668/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
