Hello Vexations
I have gone through the article The Gallery (1973-78)c and removed some conflicted entries (Summer Studio ICA - bio-data) and inseted citations where flagged - mainly Art, Criticism and Display Cv Publications 2012. My authorship and publisher/owner of archive material.
I would appreciate any assistance you can provide in correcting formatof citations, to make the article ready for publication by Wikipedia

Nj1948, I think you can learn to format the references correctly to begin with. As far as I can tell, you are editing using the Source editor (See Help:Introduction). You can try to add references manually (See WP:INTREF2 for how to do that), but it has a cite button that makes creating references much easier. (See WP:INTREF3). Vexations (talk) 16:13, 25 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for this, I'll check it out. However, when I scroll through the article the entries following.Contemporary Art' are deleted or fused with that entry

Projects Between Artists Rita Donagh John Latham Erth up to Stephenmn Willats have no edit marker and are missing from the History

Some of the reentered text of Rita Donagh has transposed to italics

Please check and advise Nj1948

Your contributions to The Gallery (1973-78)[edit]

I am beginning to think that your contributions have been copied from somewhere. You included a long list of citations but didn't use them, or at least, didn't leave the number immediately following that portion of the text the note references. The text is not perhaps Cv/VAR Archive and Editions: Photo Works 1972-2020 or Seminar on The Gallery: An Independent Space of the '70s by N.P. James, is it? If so, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted materials, and the text must be removed, or re-licensed with a license that is compatible with Wikipedia per WP:COPYRIGHT. Vexations (talk) 17:54, 24 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello
I am the author and publisher of Cv/VAR Archive: Photoworks 1972-2020 (N.P. James as well as Art, Criticism and Display (Cv Publications 2012). I therefore have full rights to republish and share material in the article 'The Gallery (1973-78) NJ1948 — Preceding unsigned comment added by User:Nj1948 (talkcontribs) 19:25, 24 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, in editing the article The Gallery (1973-78) I accidentally deleted the page links to 10 Jonathan Miles Global Routes which has caused the document to become a draft Can you assist reverting the article to published on Wikipedia

Thank you Nj1948

Maproom moved the article to draft status: "Move article to draft so that the referencing can be done in an acceptable style." Everything in the "Notes and References" section does not count as references. Some of those may be valid as refs if in proper format. The non-superscripted numbers in the text need to be removed. Your eyewitness items are not valid refs. The copyright issue - use of your copyright protected content - has not been resolved. David notMD (talk) 12:16, 25 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you David,

I have deleted Notes and references 1-052 accordingly

Please detail further your copyright query to the entries in The Gallery (1973-78)

Nj1948

First, to 'sign' a comment, type four of ~ at the end, as that both signs and dates. As for the copyright issue, I suggest you communicate with Vexations, as outside my expertise. As for the article, as it stands now it has huge amounts of text unreferenced. Also there is huge amounts of content that are contrary to Wikipedia's encyclopedic style. For example, in Summer Studio there is a verbatim interview. I have no connection to the contemporary art world, but I do recommend modeling this after existing contemporary art gallery articles. The article Upper East Side has links to several art gallery articles. David notMD (talk) 13:07, 25 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Nj1948 I can show you how to cite/reference the article so that it follows Wikipedia's guideline, Wikipedia:Citing sources. Many different styles are acceptable, but some are easier than others. I would suggest that you start with inline citations using the Citation Style 1 template {{cite book}}. Vexations (talk) 13:19, 25 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Dear David,

I have your advice thank you, and have deleted the interview extract (1/2) Summer Studio ICA)

I will check with Vexations re. formatting citations

Headings, spaces, MoS[edit]

Please do not use bold type to indicate a heading or add "structure" to an article. We have a Manual of Style that explains the layout of an article: Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Layout I know there's a lot to take in, but please read the materials I suggested. Also, use of the preview button will show you when an edit does not yield the expected results. For example: Spaces, at the beginning of a line have a special meaning in wikitext (aka Wiki markup or Wikicode). Here's an example:

This line starts with a space.

This line doesn't.

Dear Wikipedia reviewer

What form of citation should be used in additional entries expanding the article 'The Gallery 1973-8)

A number of references have been researched and are presented in number order 1-33, related to 9 different sections.

An example of an acceptable format would be appreciated
