Yes, it is a class project as a part of the Association for Psychological Science Wikipedia Initiative: http://www.psychologicalscience.org/index.php/members/aps-wikipedia-initiative

- Thanks. User:Thetmn added material similar to yours to Major depressive disorder, and I felt that I had to revert it. The article you've added it to is a much better place, although I still incline to think the material might work better as a freestanding article, as I explained at User talk:Thetmn. - You are the instructor! First let me give you a new welcome (with lots of relevant information). I guess here are the answers. I would just like to inform you about an important difference between Wikipedia and an academic paper or essay. Wikipedia articles should not be based on WP:primary sources, but on reliable, published secondary sources (for instance, journal reviews and professional or advanced academic textbooks) and, to a lesser extent, on tertiary sources (such as undergraduate textbooks). WP:MEDRS describes how to identify reliable sources for medical information, which is a good guideline for many neuropsychology articles as well.
