If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Noah Zaki requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Valenciano (talk) 19:21, 5 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

September 2012[edit]

Hello, Noahazaki. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Noah Zaki, you may need to consider our guidance on conflicts of interest.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. Valenciano (talk) 19:22, 5 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Noah Zaki, a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion and appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. AllyD (talk) 21:07, 5 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not write or add to an article about yourself, as you apparently did at Noah Zaki. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 01:24, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The article Noah Zaki has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Thekillerpenguin (talk) 02:00, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia, you may be blocked from editing. If you need guidance on how to create appropriate pages, try using the Article Wizard. Really, recreating a page about yourself 3 times is not the way to go. Please read the policies we have pointed you to. This is not Facebook. Thekillerpenguin (talk) 02:03, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

In case you didn't know, Twitter is not a reliable source. Have you been written about in reliable sources? If so, what are they? Thekillerpenguin (talk) 02:06, 6 September 2012 (UTC) Addendum: Youtube isn't reliable either. Please read this to learn how to source to reliable sources. Thekillerpenguin (talk) 02:07, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Re your comment on the talk page: No one deserves to have a page. If it doesn't meet this, it doesn't really belong here. You haven't really addressed the reliable sources issue. Thekillerpenguin (talk) 02:11, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Don't add fake references to articles. You are not Zaki N. Hasan of Al-Kindy College of Medicine, Baghdad University, whose work you added as a reference to your autobiography. AllyD (talk) 20:52, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning. The next time you create an inappropriate page, as you did at Noah Zaki, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. GoodnightmushTalk 21:32, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You need to listen to other people[edit]

Noah, I've locked that particular page title to prevent it's recreation. That is quite enough; please look at all the messages above to get an idea of how many other people's time is being wasted by your repeated recreation of that page. I hope you look around at some of the links in these messages and become interested in helping out, but if all you wish to do is create a vanity page that doesn't meet our inclusion criteria, I'm afraid you'll need to find another website. --Floquenbeam (talk) 22:54, 14 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
