I have requested an Admin. involved on the Adi Da page to watch your activity in terms of whitewashing and sock puppetry. Remember, the goal here is to create neutral factual overviews, not to advocate for personal points of view regarding topics or figures.Tao2911 (talk) 14:33, 24 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ok Tao2911, I will try following your example.

Ross link.[edit]

Hey Norm, Relative to Ross link.. if your up to it you can request a single issue mediation on it from formal wiki editors. The main thing the site does is quote 1986 newspapers on lawsuits etc. You would of course have to build your case via Wikipedia and see if it supports your issue with this external link. Certainly a lot of the material on Ross site is covered in the article itself already and a number of the citations on the site are also covered in citations in the article.Jason Riverdale (talk) 21:59, 29 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't think it's worth it. It's not a "dead discussion": au contraire, c'est interminable. It seems likely, from reading the archives, that David Starr left from sheer frustration at the impossibility of achieving anything on matters like this, while nonetheless having to constantly endure the vulgar fanaticism of Tao2911. One of the things I find strange about Tao2911's fixation on the idea that I am David Starr's reincarnation (which he has again given voice to on the Admin noticeboard) is that if he (D.S.) wanted to make a comeback, he doesn't actually have any reason to use a sockpuppet, and doesn't seem the type anyway. He seems well-informed, intelligent and sincere, just the sort of person who would have been of great benefit to such a difficult subject for a wikipedia article. I feel a little disgusted at Tao2911's constant slurs on him, which are unfortunately leant an air of legitimacy by some of Eyeserene's inappropriate comments. By the way, is it a bit annoying that Tao2911 has taken to referring to you as 'Riverdale'? He's on a first names basis with 'Eye'. Perhaps you could refer to him as '911'. methinks thou doth protest too much - in exactly David Starr's voice. If it talks, walks, edits and proclaims like a duck, well,...Tao2911 (talk) 14:55, 13 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
There is no protest Tao2911, you can go on making the accusations as long as you want, it just makes you look a bit silly. Besides, as I believe David Starr to be an intelligent and articulate person, I don't particularly mind the comparison. But consider for a moment: if you were a devious enough person to use a sockpuppet, why would you re-write your profile description from the profile you were pretending not to be? Wouldn't that defeat the whole purpose? Norm Declavier (talk) 03:39, 14 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

blah blah blah, heard it all already. carry on, my articulate intelligent friend...Tao2911 (talk) 15:17, 14 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
