Peer Review

I think that your article is looking pretty good so far! I noticed that you have some characters that you are still filling in. Make sure that you include citations for this. Also, make sure you include a title for your references section. Your plot summary is very well written. I did not notice any areas that looked like they were biased in any way. I think it would be a good idea to include a critical review section since it is a book. You could find sources that discuss the novel and have a section about this. This would also help you get some more sources, even though the ones that you already have look great! I also noticed that you plan on having a theme section but have not edited it yet, so I think that will be a great addition. Overall, I think it is looking great. Good job! Hello!

Looks like you have some great edits so far. You've really expanded the page to be a much more comprehensive look at the novel. Make sure, especially in regards to the background section, that every paragraph ends with a citation. I talked to Dr. Dee and do not think that rule applies to plot and character, but definitely make sure your background paragraph ends in a citation. I think there could be some rewording in the first paragraph to clarify whether the book is based on his parent's lives or his own. If it is based on her parents lives, change the sentence to start with "The novel is inspired by her parents, using their names and following a similar migration...". If not, change accordingly. The fact that she wrote it in three months is repeated in the lead and the background, but I do not think it is necessary to include in the lead. The plot summary is succinct and unbiased. Great job so far! Would recommend a section about characters. Jessranthony (talk) 16:02, 1 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
