Those sources I removed from Blood type personality theory don't meet Wikipedia:MEDRS. I am removing them again. Check FT/N if you want more info. 73.68.72.229 (talk) 04:22, 14 March 2023 (UTC)

I have left my substantive comments on the Fringe Theory page. You had not posted your justification on that page at the time I reverted your edits, nor did you say you would be doing so in your edit summaries. I suggest that as an IP-editor this may help you avoid the appearance of engaging in unconstructive blanking.Oblivy (talk) 05:13, 14 March 2023 (UTC)

Khor Kok Soon

He was captured in Malaysia and wanted by and extradited to Singapore. Paradise Chronicle (talk) 07:08, 29 March 2023 (UTC)

OK, but he's been executed. The name of the category is "fugitives wanted" not "former fugitives". He's not a wanted man because they got him. This category was just added and removed yesterday. If this is really going to be a contentious edit, we can take it to the talk page, but I'm really not sure how the category applies. Oblivy (talk) 07:19, 29 March 2023 (UTC)
If we go with that rationale, any politician who died should not be in the category politicians of that party. He was once wanted by Singapore, so he fits in that category. There is no category former fugitives Paradise Chronicle (talk) 08:09, 29 March 2023 (UTC)
We disagree. I'm wary of the 3RR so I've put a comment on the talk page and going to hold off for now. IMHO this should be beyond dispute, and possibly would be but for the involvement of User:AlexBalder01 AKA "former disruptive editor". Oblivy (talk) 08:19, 29 March 2023 (UTC)

please instruct me clearly what to do

I don't understand what is causing the warning you are giving me. I guess you didn't read my article. What if it's because I didn't reply to other people's comments on the talk page, and my article is actually a comprehensive and detailed reply? Messenger003 (talk) 05:05, 24 April 2023 (UTC)

You need to read what theleekycauldron told you, and read WP:ADVOCACY. Oblivy (talk) 05:26, 24 April 2023 (UTC)

Excuse me, do I have to underline and warn when commenting on the shortcomings of the original article on the talk page?Messenger003 (talk) 06:00, 24 April 2023 (UTC)

I really can't grasp your rules accurately, please tell me what “article space” is?Messenger003 (talk) 06:07, 24 April 2023 (UTC)

You mean start editing directly from the justice home page? I hope so!Messenger003 (talk) 06:26, 24 April 2023 (UTC)

Either you are unable to understand what people have generously explained to you, or you are unwilling to listen, or you are pretending not to understand.
Article space is the article. Talk space is the talk page. I won't answer any further questions.
What to do? Read the WP:5PILLARS. Oblivy (talk) 06:50, 24 April 2023 (UTC)

Please add the links back.

The I have added are useful. Harsh Kush. (talk) 11:03, 24 April 2023 (UTC)

Hi. Please read the wikipedia policy at WP:BLOG. If there is information in your blog which is useful, and if you have a reliable source, that information can be added with an appropriate citation. Blogs and other self-published sources are generally not acceptable citations unless there is some independent reason it's reliable (e.g., it's the official blog of an article subject). Yinzibing

Hello Oblivy, thank you for reviewing my last post. I'm representative of the European patient association about Yinzibing. I wanted to add the website URL so everyone could notice how reliable and accurate are our patient association. We would like to offer the possibility to people being infected by this STD to see that things are moving and that some study are being done. The biggest pain point about this disease is that people are alone and cannot join their forces as search engines censor every website talking about pathogens not yet recognized... Have a nice day Thomas 01 Discord (talk) 12:55, 18 May 2023 (UTC)

I understand that you are interested in having this information included on Wikipedia, but remember that everything added to an article needs to be supported by a reliable source. You should have a look at WP:MEDREF to understand what is required for medical-related articles. I don't think you can meet those standards.
As you say you represent this association, you should also consider conflict of interest as editors who have a relationship with the subject of articles should generally avoid editing them directly. Oblivy (talk) 23:19, 18 May 2023 (UTC)

No ping

In this edit you attempted to notify a couple of editors of your message, but they won't have been notified, because you didn't sign it. JBW (talk) 09:06, 15 June 2023 (UTC)

Fixed it. Thank you. Oblivy (talk) 09:32, 15 June 2023 (UTC)

Merging into Tarbox Ramblers

T.H.A.N.K Y.O.U. so much for merging Michael Tarbox's article into the band's article. Most people who suggest a merge during an AfD just wipe their hands of it once the discussion is closed. I took care of the talk page tags and redirected to the band page, so everything should be good now. Again, thanks for putting in the work! Joyous! Noise! 01:10, 9 July 2023 (UTC)

Speedy deletion contested: Draft:Hackintosh sonoma 14

Hello Oblivy. I am just letting you know that I contested the speedy deletion of Draft:Hackintosh sonoma 14, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: You can't use A3 for draftspace. Thank you. BangJan1999 01:56, 14 August 2023 (UTC)

Thanks. I read WP:A3 and the only proviso is that it not be used for newly created articles in the first few minutes. But from the top of the section I see its only for article namespace. I'll blank and PROD the page instead as it's clearly improper content. Oblivy (talk) 02:01, 14 August 2023 (UTC)
OK, I see I can't use PROD on a draft. This is a WP policy gap, IMHO, but OK I'll just blank the bad content and see what happens. Oblivy (talk) 02:06, 14 August 2023 (UTC)

G-III follow-up

Hi Oblivy, just wanted to thank you again for updating the G-III infobox. Keeping "accessories" as a product makes sense, given your explanation. I just posted a new request on the Talk page about replacing the current Brands section with a more up-to-date portfolio table. Can you please let me know what you think? Here is a guide:Help:Editing.
If you are serious about learning to edit you can read it and learn. If you don't learn, and continue to edit anyway, this account will probably end up getting blocked, just like your other accounts. Oblivy (talk) 11:35, 3 September 2023 (UTC)

Your concerns

I understand your edits and thank you for them. I was adding new uses for drivers license and Social Security cards as reported in the many citations I found on the subject. I thought we as Wikipedia contributors should give as much pertinent and relative information as possible on any given subject that would be of interest to that page as possible. I am interested in inventions and inventors that contribute great new technologies. I follow Alan Amron and many other known inventors, but not connected at to them at all. I will try harder to follow Wikipedia rules on being more involved with the page subject going forward. Thank you for these edits. Enoska13 (talk) 01:46, 5 September 2023 (UTC)

Brought to my attention

Now that you brought this to my attention, I do agree that direct citations relative to the page is a must. I’m still learning and try to stay within all the many rules on Wikipedia. 03:02, 5 September 2023 (UTC) Enoska13 (talk) 03:02, 5 September 2023 (UTC)

ANI

Dear Wikipedia administrator and Editors,

I am writing to apologize for my inappropriate edits. I was inexperienced in Wikipedia editing rules and guidelines and I acted too aggressively and impulsively. I did not represent those I respect properly and I caused unnecessary conflicts and confusion.

I am deeply sorry for my actions. I take full responsibility for my mistakes and I sincerely regret any harm or inconvenience I caused. I have learned from this experience and I will make sure to be more careful and respectful in the future. I have also read the Wikipedia policies and guidelines to improve my understanding and skills as an editor.

Thank you for your understanding. I appreciate all your work and dedication to Wikipedia and I hope we can move past this incident and work together constructively.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I welcome any suggestions or advice on how to improve my editing skills. Enoska13 (talk) 06:12, 8 September 2023 (UTC)

No, I never edited in any other name or account.Enoska13 (talk) 06:30, 8 September 2023 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for September 9

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited G-III Apparel Group, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kenneth Cole. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Jacinto Gutierrez

Im his nephew and he is my fathers brother, I actually have lots of pictures i can add to his wikipedia page, i am new to this, so i will look into learning how to properly update this information, thank you for your message Rguti0022 (talk) 01:58, 3 October 2023 (UTC)

Thanks for your message. I'm actually not sure there's a problem with the information but you need a reliable source especially for changing something factual like age at date of death.
Actually the article currently doesn't have a lot of reliable sourcing, and I note that there's already a blog post cited. A newspaper article would be a much better source for this article, although for factual matters an official record like a court judgment would be OK as well.
Pictures almost always improve articles. For adding pictures, when you upload them you will need to provide proof you own the photos (or that some other free license applies). I'm not that familiar with the process, but here's a help page: Wikipedia:Uploading_images Oblivy (talk) 02:14, 3 October 2023 (UTC)

New G-III requests

Hi again, Oblivy. I posted requests at the G-III Talk page about adding a logo and Operations section. No rush obviously but if you have a chance to review I would really appreciate it. Your detailed feedback on my last request was really helpful. Thanks! G-III Cody (talk) 20:46, 3 October 2023 (UTC)

Hello again, Oblivy, just checking to see if you've had a chance to review my two requests. I don't mean to rush you on this as I realize you're a volunteer, but I haven't had any luck attracting other editors' attention. The addition of the logo seems very straightforward. The new Operations section probably needs more attention. Please let me know if you can help. Thank you again. G-III Cody (talk) 19:54, 16 October 2023 (UTC)

Another G-III request

Hi again, Oblivy. I've posted a new request at the G-III Talk page about updating the History section. I unfortunately was never able to attract editor attention about the last two requests, but I'm hoping you or another editor will have time to review this one. I would also welcome any advice you might have about how I might generate interest, as my attempts to help update the page appear to have stalled. Many thanks.
